We at Annuraj Interiors designed this 4BHK not to impress guests on Instagram, but to calm the family that lives in it every day.

THE BRIEF: Young family wanted international resort luxury with Indian practicality - storage, low maintenance, warm.

OUR WARM MINIMALISM SYSTEM:

1. Volume as Luxury: Double-height living with floor-to-ceiling sheers. We kept palette to warm white, taupe, rust to make volume intimate.

2. Curves for Calm: Every sofa is curved or circular. Based on neuroaesthetics - curves reduce stress, improve flow in large open plans.

3. Zoning Without Walls: Hanging rattan swing + double-sided travertine fireplace create invisible partitions while sightlines stay open.

4. Kitchen as Furniture: Handleless taupe cabinets, waterfall island, integrated ovens. Designed to look like a living space, not a utility.

5. Hotel Bedrooms That Work: Low platform beds, fluted wood TV wall with cove, integrated study desk. Luxury that works 9-to-5.

Result: A home that looks international but lives Indian. Photographs like a resort, functions like a family home.

Client told me: "We found CHEAPER than you" 😅

So he hired a low-cost designer from Instagram who gave him a cheaper quote.

This is what that cheaper designer installed. Watch till 0:03.

A 5,000 rupee wall mounted tap is now flooding his entire vanity unit. Water is not falling in the basin, it's falling on the counter and floor.

Why? The tap spout is not aligned to the drain. The height and projection were never checked on site. Only on 3D.

This mistake happens in 8 out of 10 bathrooms when there is no interior designer on site during plumbing.

CORRECT WAY TO FIX VANITY TAP PLACEMENT:

We always follow this on our sites:
1. Spout must be exactly above the drain hole
2. Height should be 8 to 10 inches from basin top
3. Water should fall 2 inches inside the basin, not on the edge
4. Check it live with water before final tiling

He saved 10k on supervision. Now he will spend 50k to break the tile, shift the point, and redo waterproofing.

Don't make this mistake during your bathroom renovation. A 3D is not enough. You need someone on site.

STOP. Don’t make your home without reading this.

90% people make home wrong and then blame bad luck. Vastu is not superstition - it is direction, light, air and energy balance.
This one image shows 9 Vastu rules that can save you from lifelong problems:

1. Plot & Main Door - East, North or North-East is most auspicious. Square or rectangle plot best.
