BPCL – IDPL Waiting Lounge | Irugur, Coimbatore
A compact waiting lounge with openings on every side demanded a thoughtful design approach. With an entry from the corridor, access to the conference room, a toilet door, and a window on each wall, creating a cohesive visual experience became the primary objective.
The first wall encountered from the corridor conceals the toilet door within a seamless aluminium profile panelling, allowing the functional element to disappear into the design and creating a more refined, welcoming first impression.
Classic wall mouldings set against black laminate wrap the room, visually tying the space together despite the multiple openings. Overhead, a woven cane ceiling and decorative cane light introduce warmth and texture, balancing the contemporary palette with natural materials.
