Libraries have transformed into dynamic spaces. They still need areas for concentration, but they also thrive on energy and vibrancy. This new vision incorporates bright colours, open floor plans, and flexible zones that invite creativity and exploration.

The goal is to create an inviting atmosphere where students feel motivated to immerse themselves in reading and learning, rather than merely waiting for the time to pass. In these modern libraries, every corner beckons with the promise of discovery, making it a place where students genuinely want to linger and engage.

A façade should serve more than just as a cover for a building; it should also introduce the structure itself.

In this project, balconies, recessed planes, and a layered palette of greys, blacks, and timber tones work together to create depth across the elevation. The metal edge profiles define the lines, while warm wooden soffits add softness to the overall composition. As daylight changes throughout the day, the building transforms along with it. By evening, the lighting takes over, revealing a different character.

Clean lines. Soft palette. Purposeful details.

This bathroom design balances elegance with functionality - marble countertops, herringbone tile work, and open storage create visual interest while keeping the space uncluttered. The interplay of black framing against crisp whites and neutrals proves that sometimes less is more. That’s the mark of thoughtful design.

When we start designing a space, the conversation is rarely about what it will look like. It usually begins with how it will be used—what a day feels like inside it, how people move through it, where they pause, where they gather.

That’s where this thought comes from. A reminder that design isn’t just about creating something new, but about making everyday living a little easier and more intuitive.

It’s a small shift in approach, but one that stays with us through every project.

Some projects begin as lines on a screen and stay there. This one didn’t.

Hill Haven moved from early visualisations to something you can walk through, live in, and return to. Watching an idea take shape layer by layer never gets old.

From render to reality. From concept to a place that now exists in the hills 🌱

Heritage lives in the details. In the carved surface touched by hand, the patterned screen that filters light, the texture that carries memory, and the craft passed from one generation to the next.

This post is an honour to the elements that keep our design legacy alive. Not as replicas of the past, but as living ideas reinterpreted for the way we inhabit spaces today.

At Mold, we often draw from these quiet inheritances, shaping homes that feel rooted, relevant, and deeply personal. Because when heritage enters design with honesty, it never feels old. It feels timeless.

A look at everything that shaped our last few months.
From festive pauses between Christmas and Holi to projects taking clearer form, including a first glimpse at Silverglades Hightown, this quarter has been about building momentum.

Alongside the work, there were conversations, behind-the-scenes moments, and a feature with India Today Home, where Anika joined the dialogue on design today.

This is a snapshot. The full story is in the newsletter.

The future of office design is shifting away from closed doors and cubicles!

This project in Okhla embraces this change by creating an open, flexible workplace that reflects modern workstyles. Located on a corner plot with greenery on two sides, the building maximises light and openness across its floors.

Its façade, inspired by the surrounding industrial context, showcases a visible structure layered with glass for natural light and views, complemented by corten steel and darker finishes that root it in its environment. This design balances energy efficiency with visual appeal.

Our office design prioritises simplicity with a clear form and adaptable spaces, reflecting how our work is ever-evolving.

At NOOR’26, our founder Anika Mittal Dhawan ( ) joined the Founder’s Panel hosted by the Women’s Development Cell ( ) at SRCC.

Centred around the idea of “where expression meets empowerment,” the conversation encouraged young women to step into entrepreneurship, share their ideas with confidence, and navigate the early stages of building something of their own.

Anika also spoke about the challenges women entrepreneurs continue to face.
An insightful session, with conversations that we hope stayed with those in the room.

Nothing like being on site and seeing it all come together!

There’s a different kind of clarity when you’re actually there seeing its scale, walking through the space and understanding what’s working, and what needs to be resolved. It’s raw and a bit messy but this is where the building really starts to make sense.

A narrow galley in a Lutyens bungalow — the brief was to fit everything a serious cook needs without it ever feeling cramped.

From glass bricks for light to vertical fluted tiles for easy cleaning, every detail was engineered for flow. In a kitchen this tight, the “exterior” of the cabinetry is the cavity that gives life to the daily ritual of cooking.

It’s proof that even a small space can work like a professional kitchen when every inch is planned with intent.
