We work in the construction industry and are involved with designing new buildings, extensions or alterations to existing buildings, or advising on the restoration and conservation of old properties. We can work on individual buildings or on large redevelopment schemes, and can be responsible for the design of the surrounding landscape and spaces. Our Architects and our associates work closely wit

h their client and users to make sure that projected designs match their needs and are functional, safe and economical. We usually control a project from start to finish and work with a number of construction professionals, including surveyors and engineers, producing drawings and specifications that the construction team works to.

DESIGN INTENT

The project explores a free-form architectural language to create a fluid and immersive rooftop dining experience. The design dissolves rigid spatial boundaries and introduces a continuous, organic flow between dining, lounging, and social interaction zones.

Soft pastel interiors are used to establish a calm, contemporary ambiance, contrasting subtly with natural textures like timber decking and water elements. The aim is to create a space that feels light, breathable, and emotionally inviting, especially during evening and twilight hours.

SPATIAL PLANNING STRATEGY

The layout is organized into three primary zones:

* Dining Zone (25 Covers)
Positioned along the perimeter for optimal views and privacy, ensuring a comfortable dining experience.
* Central Social Core (Bar + Lounge)
Acts as the visual and functional anchor, encouraging interaction and movement.
* Flexible Standing Zone (25 Pax)
Designed for high-energy use cases such as small events, gatherings, or overflow capacity.

The circulation follows a looped free-flow pattern, eliminating dead corners and allowing seamless navigation across spaces.

KEY DESIGN FEATURES

* Free-Form Architecture
Curvilinear edges and soft geometries define movement and visual continuity.
* Pastel Material Palette
Subtle tones like blush pink, muted blue, and off-white enhance spatial calmness while maintaining visual richness.
* Timber Deck Flooring
Adds warmth and tactile contrast, while being suitable for outdoor conditions.
* Water Body with Fountain Feature
Strategically placed as a focal point to introduce sensory engagement—sound, reflection, and cooling effect.
* Layered Ambient Lighting
Combination of pendant lights, concealed LED strips, and floor lighting to create a dynamic night-time atmosphere.
