Not finished. Not perfect. Still becoming. 🧶🌸

There’s something I love about the WIP stage of making — loose threads, unfinished edges, pieces waiting to come together, and absolutely no guarantee of what the final piece will look like.

This floral crochet piece is still a work in progress, but honestly, this messy stage is part of the art too.

In memory of an artist who never needed a degree to prove she was one. 🧶❤️

My grandmother was an incredibly creative artist.

She had no degree.
No diploma.
No formal training.

She simply had her hands, her imagination, and an extraordinary ability to turn ordinary materials into something beautiful.

What she created was more than crochet or handmade art. It was a language of its own — built through patience, instinct, creativity and years of practice.

Today, I look at her work differently.

I don’t just see something handmade.
I see an artist who created because creating was simply who she was.

This page is, in many ways, a little continuation of that creativity.
A place to remember her work, preserve what she made, and keep that creative thread alive. 🧶

My first ever crochet coaster set — made with lots of patience, uneven stitches, and way too much excitement. 😂

Looking back at my old crochet makes while rebuilding this little space, and honestly… some things deserve a second life. ❤️

Would you use a handmade crochet set like this at home?
