It is with immense joy and profound gratitude that I share a significant milestone in my professional and personal journey: I have been awarded my Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at the recent convocation on January 10!
This achievement is the culmination of a journey that began as a simple inquisitiveness after two decades of dedicated industry experience. My research focused on the fascinating role of the subconscious mind in Architecture Design Cognition—an area I am truly passionate about and which I believe holds significant potential for future exploration.
The last few years have been an incredible learning journey. I am deeply thankful for the unwavering support, expert guidance, and mentorship of my revered guide, Dr. Rachna Khare, Dean at the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Bhopal. Her insights were invaluable every step of the way.
I am proud to be an alumnus of SPA Bhopal, an institution that fosters excellence and deep intellectual stimulation.
As I look ahead, I hope to contribute meaningfully to the integration of architectural practice and cognitive science, leveraging my decades of experience to bridge the gap between academia and real-world application.
Thank you to my family, friends, colleagues, and all who supported me throughout this challenging yet rewarding endeavor. The learning continues!

Excited to share about the successful defense of my PhD thesis, Design Decision-making: Role of Spontaneous Mental Actions in Architecture Design Process, at School of Planning and Architecture Bhopal (). After 16 years of industry experience, getting into doctoral research was sheer self-motivation to investigate the science behind my observations in the design industry. The research contributes to fields of Design Decision Management, Design Cognition, Emotional Intelligence, and Design Pedagogy based on psychophysiological sensors backed by neuroscientific theories. My sincere gratitude to Prof. Rachna Khare ()for guiding me along the exploratory study and keeping me motivated for the last seven years. The advice from expert external reviewers - Vice-Chancellor JNA&FAU, Prof. Kavita Diriyani Rao; Prof. Abhijit Natu (Principal-BKPS college), Dr. .pratap (Researcher, Wolters Kluwer Group), Prof. Saket Sarraf (CEPT), and Prof. Gourab Kar (IITD) - at various stages helped shape the quality of the research. Special thanks to Professors of SPA Bhopal, Prof. .ajaykhare, HOD: Dr. Sandeep Arora; doctoral coordinator: Dr. Kakoli Saha; along with ex-HOD: Dr. Sandeep Sankat and other members of the Doctoral Review Committee and support staff, along with my family, for their unconditional support, making this journey a memorable and pleasant learning experience at SPA Bhopal.

Excited to share that my research paper on Spontaneous Decision-Making Behaviour is recently published in Springer journal: International Journal of Technology and Design Education (SCIE & SSCI indexed).

The research measure Physiological Changes due to Emotional Correlations while Cognition during Architecture Design Process to understand influence of Subconscious Mental Processes during Spontaneous Design Decision-Making. The findings provide better understanding for future researches related to application of Physiological inputs in Advance Education Technology, Role of Emotions in Design Cognition, Design Thinking, Design Pedagogy, Decision-Maiking, Emotional Intelligence and Machine Learning.
