TOSTEM Asia Design Award 2026
Calling for Rising Design Talent for the NEXTGEN Award
TOSTEM Asia Design Award 2026 invites students, recent graduates, and young professionals from India, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam to submit conceptual residential design projects that showcase creativity, architectural excellence, and spatial mastery. Submissions should align with this year’s theme, “Dialogues between Opening and Space,” exploring the harmonious relationship between people, space, and nature.

➤ Eligibility
• Students, recent graduates, and young professionals under 30 years old.
• Individuals or teams, with a maximum of 2 members.
• All participants must meet the eligibility criteria.

➤ Design Requirements
• A conceptual residential design with a maximum built-up area of 500 sqm.
• The design must incorporate TOSTEM IN16 and GIESTA Series as key elements, and include at least one additional TOSTEM product, such as GRANTS, ATIS, WE Series, or other TOSTEM products that strengthen the overall design concept.

🏆 Prize
Two winners will be invited to join an exclusive 4-day, 3-night trip to Tokyo, Japan, offering a special opportunity to travel, experience inspiring architecture, discover new inspiration, and expand professional design networks across Asia.

● 28 April 2026: Entries open
● 10 September 2026: Entries close
● 24 October 2026: Winners announced

Call for Residential Design Submissions. Win an Exclusive Trip to Tokyo!
The 4th TOSTEM Asia Design Award (TADA) 2026 invites architects from India, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam to submit residential designs under the theme, “Dialogues Between Opening and Space.”

The competition seeks innovative projects that utilize doors and windows as vital architectural interfaces to frame nature, optimize light and air, and elevate the everyday living experience.
TADA 2026 is open to professional architects across two award categories:
◾️ Architectural Home of the Year Award
(4 Awards)
This award honors outstanding completed residential projects.
➤ Eligibility: Projects must be completed between 2022 and 2026 and must integrate TOSTEM products.
◾️ Future Residential Design Award
(4 Awards)
This award honors residential projects currently under construction or in development.
➤ Eligibility: Projects must have an expected completion date no later than 2027 and must integrate TOSTEM products.

TOSTEM Asia Design Award 2026 is now open for entries.
Architects from India, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam are invited to submit residential work to TADA 2026 and bring bold ideas into Asia’s design spotlight.

Under the theme “Dialogue Between Opening and Space,” this year’s award explores how openings give rhythm to residential architecture — drawing in light and air, creating transition, framing views, and shaping the way space is lived and felt.
Entries are open in three categories:

Architectural Home of the Year Award for completed residential projects
Future Residential Design Award for projects in progress or planned for future completion
NextGen Award for students and emerging architects under 30 years old with strong conceptual proposals

This year, TADA is honored to welcome Vo Trong Nghia, Founder of VTN Architects; Professor Tonkao Panin, Founding Principal of Research Studio Panin; and Takayuki Inoue, Leader of LIXIL Global Design (LHT), Japan, as members of the jury panel.
A total of 10 winning projects will be recognized across all categories. Winners will also be invited to Tokyo for a special architectural journey created to inspire new perspectives, meaningful exchange, and connection across Asia.
