I’m so excited to finally share this project with you very, very soon.
It isn’t the first time I’ve designed a home for friends, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t just a little nervous this time. The design philosophy was slightly different from what I naturally gravitate towards, which meant stepping just outside my comfort zone. But that’s also what made the journey so rewarding.
Like every project, there were challenges, disagreements, deadlines and moments where we all wondered if we’d get to the finish line. When you’re working with close friends, there’s an added sense of responsibility because it’s not just a home—it’s their investment, their trust, and a relationship you value deeply.
Today, as I sit in their home after our shoot, I feel incredibly proud of what my team and I have created. Three months in, it’s a home that’s being lived in, loved, and talked about—and I don’t think there’s a bigger compliment than that.
Every home should reflect the people who live in it, not the designer. My job is simply to bring that vision to life, while quietly leaving behind a few little signatures of my own along the way.
I can’t wait to show you this one.
