Yesterday, something little Anukriti once only dreamed about… became real.

I still remember being the girl who just loved Clay, who didn’t fully understand business plans or launches or how big dreams really work.

And yesterday, we opened the doors to our new studio.
A space built with dusty hands, sleepless nights, quiet tears, loud laughter, and a whole lot of faith.

There were moments I doubted myself.
Moments I wondered if I was capable of something this big.
But somehow, through the chaos and the courage, we made it here.

To everyone who showed up, who believed in us, who supported Clay & Glaze from a tiny corner to Maison Maati.

These pieces begin here in a slow coastal town, where mornings are quiet, cafés hum softly, and time moves a little gentler.

The things you don't see behind Handmade Ceramics 🏺

It all starts with a lump of clay, which is shaped by hands with multiple failed attempts.
Drying and firing the clay takes time, sometimes days to avoid clay from cracking.
And thirdly, glazing is risky, the Glaze looks different before firing, you can only tell the final colour once it has dried.

That's why each piece is different and unique, and the 'imperfection' that's the beauty of handmade.
