Adding to the list of fun and exciting projects we have been working on.
This space is a contemporary home for an elderly couple.While most of the furniture is modern and practical, a few antique pieces and traditional Indian artifacts and fabrics have sneaked themselves in, to add charm and grace.
The idea was to divide the large living space into four separate zones of dining, media, interaction and lounge wherein each area was self sufficient.Simple chevron painted frames adorn the living space,doubling as a display.
While the overall design of the house maintains its essence of simplicity, its exclusive character defines each room.

Another fun project that we have worked on.
The client's brief was simple, they wanted a home that would have a
clear narrative in terms of function and decor. The design did not
necessarily be overblown in its proclamation of identity but must bear
the mark of their lifestyle.

The living and the dining are seamlessly integrated without visual
barriers of walls, yet retain their individual functions.Each of the
rooms are well designed with different concepts befitting their
function and the user.The balcony adjoining the living area brings in
generous amount of light that floods the entire space.The material
palette - basically whites and neutral shades, emphasizes the open,
modern design and complements the concept and function of each space!

SOPHISTICATED SIMPLICITY !!

Given a carte blanche, this project was exciting and enthralling to work on. The 4800-square-foot apartment is a home to a family of five. The only succinct brief received from the client was " Keep it Simple".
The selected color palette for the project was neutrals, that which could be layered well with vibrant touches through furnishings. Spatially speaking, the house has, to a great extent, stuck to its original functional configuration. Few changes were made in the living room thus psychologically enhancing the space. The walls in the house are generously dotted with artworks to break the monotony. Overall it was a great project for us to work on.
