𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲, 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹'𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘆.

Some flowers don't bloom in gardens. They bloom in our memories. 🌷
When I was little, we couldn't afford bouquets.

But every once in a while, my father would bring home 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁, because he knew how much I loved roses.

That one plant became my entire world.
Every day after school, before I did anything else, I would run to see if it had bloomed. If I found a new flower, my happiness knew no bounds.

I would gently water it, caress every petal and leaf, and quietly talk to it as though it could understand every word I said.

On days when I came home and found the soil already wet, I'd ask everyone in the house,
"𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆

Because I wanted to be the one who cared for it.

Looking back, it was never just a rose.
It was my father's way of saying, "𝗜 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆."

Years have passed, but that little girl still lives within me.

Perhaps that's why I create flowers that never fade.

Gulistan is a small piece of that childhood, preserved in wax, so that someone else, too, can hold a memory in their hands.
