Standard decoupage paper or napkin sizes don't always fit every project. Here's an idea I used for a tray. P.S. I am not an artist and if I could do this,anyone can.
I used and highly recommend the Craftangles' chalk paints. They blend very well,the colours pop and the texture amazing.

Mixed media craft is the use of various mediums and textures. This is a first time project and so we went conservative but it was still fun!

Here is the process:

1.Prepped the base with white gesso
2.Painted a thin layer of Craftangles Decoupage glue and placed the tissue on it.
3. It was smaller than my base and so I had to blend it in with chalk paint. I used Craftangles' Chalky Paint. More on blending in another video.
4. Used Cratangles' Newspaper stamp to give it a vintage feel.
5. Sealed it with a top coat of decoupage glue.
6. Added texture with Craftangles' Clear Texture paste and 2 stencils. One with dots and another with flowers.
7. Randomly added some gilding glue (Keep Smiling). Allowed it to dry and stuck the foil on it. Very satisfying process.
8. Made some roses with air dry clay for added dimension. Painted it with peach and brown -in keeping with the picture. Added more foil and stuck it with fevi kwik.
9. Sealed the whole project with a coat of Craftangles' Decoupage Varnish Gloss.
10. Aaaand Done!
