Nitya Taunk, a very young, dynamic and creative award winner knitwear designer, who attained a degree of Bachelor of Designing from NIFT, Chennai in 2015 is using her skills of designing to design slate crafts out of waste material from her father's factory. She also worked as a Assistant Designer in Cotton Blossoms located in Tiruppur for 1 year from 2015 to 2016. She believes that change can only be brought with changing thyself. So, in order to break the barriers and stereotypes, she discovered a way to convert the waste materials of slate factory into something innovative and sturdy. She has currently put all her efforts and energy to fuel this new and unique venture. She is also a certified Heartfulness Meditation Trainer, and uses her part time to impart meditation training to fellow beings.
