Site Visit 👷🏼‍♀️

When the plasterer’s arrive, you know you’re close to pretty 🤩 my patient clients are seeing the nearing end to this forever home project. A few tweaks during my visit and the team are on track for the kitchen installation happening really 🔜 just wait until you see the colour of our oriel glass window seat… can you guess?

Progress 🤍

The engineered hardwood flooring in herringbone lay is being installed now for Hill Project and it is beautiful 👌🏼 this formal dining room is adjacent to the newly extended kitchen of a stunning Victorian Villa and those bronze glazed doors, fully open up both spaces, sharing the natural daylight and views to the pretty garden. We have bordered the herringbone in a straight laid plank to truly wrap the boundaries with seamless elegance from room to room 🤎

Claret 🤍

My lovely client wanted this Play Room to be multifunctional as her family grows, this may be a Home Office of the future and as most Victorian homes typically have long narrow entryways, this space also needs to house the family’s essentials such as coats, shoes and the unglamorous boiler - we’ve added the best storage solution taking in the high ceilings and hidden the boiler within. For ventilating the cabinetry, which is important in these historic homes, we added in these playful yet classic, clover cut-outs within the doors 🍀 the richness of the burgundy and the texture of the wallpaper mural gives the scheme a comfort filled ambience whilst being just playful enough

Playtime 🤍

A transitioning space for growing girls to enjoy a new era of their Play Room, we are adding a crafts table in the centre with drawers a plenty for bobs n bits needed to create masterpieces whilst giving a clean surface with both sides accessible for homework 📄 a super cute window seat for reading in the sunshine which also houses additional storage, behind this view there is a basin for paint brush washing and floor to ceiling cabinetry in a deep claret ♥️ for wellies, aprons, and all of the things a busy, happy, family household needs 👧🏻👧🏻

One hour later ✨

Decades of dust, I simply cleaned in situ and used glass cleaner, (which smells divine) and a damp, lint free cloth and the three of these vintage, glass chandeliers look wonderful again

What a beautiful week of new projects starting to take shape, a clear design direction has been presented to the clients and approved for us to work closely with the architects from day one and ensure from the offset that the best possible comprehensive planning is a pure collaboration to avoid costly changes down the line

In every project we are encouraging clients to take their home design into realms they hadn’t dreamed of until we had showed them what could be, and here we have the most beautiful realm…. in chair shape 💙 although we are in love with the rich shades of this wave fabric, we will custom the fabrics to suit our scheme

Saturday morning is the time for enjoying your kitchen fully, a place for everything and everything in its place 🤍 somewhere to plan the weekend ahead, contemplate a time for going to the gym or where to book dinner and catch up on the week that was, reality might not look like this but I’m dreaming 💭
