I enjoy painting leaves more than flowers I think. Each leaf a different green.. mixing colours to get the right shade and finally getting the right one gives a different kind of happiness and satisfaction.
This time last year, I had collected a few leaves during my trip to Europe. Thought of preserving one in the form of a painting.

•Watercolour on HP Paper

Had a great opportunity to learn from the amazing and super talented !

So grateful to Eunike Nugroho and the 🌱 for such an immersive workshop.
Got to learn so many new things.
I have always been a little apprehensive of ‘wet-into-wet’ technique but after Eunike’s workshop I am a lot more confident. She is such a great teacher. The amount of attention she gives to every tiny detail is commendable! Watching her paint on a live demo was a delight.
Monstera Deliciosa is one of my favourite plants and learning to paint it was such an amazing experience. This is my final painting from the workshop.

Thanks for this wonderful experience. Looking forward to more such opportunities!

Supplies:
HP paper
professional watercolours
Aquaelite brushes

A painting, like a butterfly, has different stages that it lives.. there is a stage where you almost want to give up because the painting looks bad and it doesn’t make any sense to the viewer or the creator. But once you are past that stage, things start to shift, ending into something beautiful, just like a butterfly!
