I stopped my sewing to watch this…

An unexpected visitor dropped by our compound today!

For a few minutes, I forgot about my sewing, my to-do list and everything else that needed my attention.

Sometimes, a little interruption is exactly what we need.

A reminder to pause.
Look around.
Notice what is happening right in front of us.

And then… get back to our stitching.

Have you ever started creating without knowing exactly where it would take you?

That’s what I love about free-form embroidery.

No fixed design.
No perfect plan.
Just a shape, a motif, a stitch—and the freedom to see where my needle takes me.

Each stitch becomes a small decision.
Some work beautifully. Some surprise me. And sometimes, I change direction completely.

For me, this is more than embroidery. It is a quiet space to experiment, slow down and let creativity unfold—one stitch at a time.

What if 30 minutes could change the way you move through a hectic day?

It’s Monday morning.

The household work is piling up, the week has already begun, and there’s a long list waiting to be ticked off.

And yet, today I decided to pause.

I found half an hour for myself — with a piece of denim, some thread and my needle.

Just one stitch… and then another.

As my hands move, something shifts inside me too.

My mind slows down.
I can process my thoughts better.
I breathe a little deeper.
And somehow, I feel calmer.

For me, embroidery and slow stitching are not just about creating something beautiful.

Sometimes, they are my way of creating a little space for myself.

Because perhaps self-care doesn't always have to be an hour at the spa or a whole day off.

Sometimes, it can simply be 30 quiet minutes and one stitch at a time.

Now I want to know about YOU.

Threading her needles to begin the next piece. 😂...

That's my super happy and satisfied mom... Her past 3 to 4 days have been dedicated to beading ... If tired, she lies down and rests. Once she feels better, she is on the go again ...

When I grow as old as her, I hope I have the same kind of passion, determination and purpose to do things . God bless her always.
