Mini Makers Market just happened… and honestly, we’re still not over it. 💛

For one week, our summer camp transformed into a bustling little market filled with handmade treasures, proud shop owners, serious negotiations and very enthusiastic customers.

The products were made by the children.
The stalls were run by the children.
The sales pitches were delivered by the children.

And the confidence? Entirely theirs.

What looked like a cute market on the outside was actually a week full of creating, problem-solving, communicating, making decisions and taking ownership of ideas.

Because at The Messy Art House, summer camp isn’t just about what children make.

It’s about what they become while making it.

This week, they became makers. ✨

What happens when you ask 150 children one simple question:

“What would you do for the Earth?” 🌍

At Planet Art, a World Environment Day initiative by Edamama, children were invited to imagine, create and express their ideas for a better planet through art.

Together with Edamama and Muso, The Messy Art House facilitated a child-led creative experience where every child was given the same materials, but no instructions on what their artwork should look like.

And that’s where the magic happened.

Some children painted oceans.
Some imagined forests.
Some created cleaner cities.
Some invented entirely new worlds.

Because at The Messy Art House, we believe children don’t need templates to be creative. They need time, space, materials and the freedom to think for themselves.

What emerged wasn’t a room full of identical artworks.

It was 150 different perspectives, 150 different ideas and 150 reminders that children often see possibilities adults miss. 💛

Today it’s a dollhouse. Tomorrow it’s a bakery. A spaceship. A hotel. A secret clubhouse.

Because at our studio, we’re less interested in telling children what something should become, and far more interested in discovering what they think it could become.
