A collective to inform growing needs of design from object to space. We believe design has unspoken avenues, we attempt to address them using computational and anthropometric tools. We consider good design is informed design , informed about the context, time and user. Our world is made of conscious & sub conscious design decisions. Node became a natural reflex of what we see around us, people from various walks of life coming together to fuse into each others specialisation and become one with the project. Node comes from the latin word "Nodus" meaning "knot". Knot is a problem and more importantly holds two or more ends together. Dealing with various scales of design means connecting fabricators dealing with different walks of life. We tie them together to make the best out of the project. We are a team of young architects focused towards informed design. Having a variety of interest from computational design to material exploration. We love to be in a motivational environment with constantly evolving ideas, we get inspired by travellers, typographers, foodies, architects, Management gurus to truth seekers. Being different in all our projects is not our focus, its merely a result of intense care for each project and client in its unique context. Node is a vibrant epicentre of various activities including 3D printing, workshops, teaching, ideating, visualising, creating, tinkering and Imagineering.

A living room, before it became one.
Same walls, same corners but a completely different feeling.

This is what design does - it takes a space and gives it a purpose.

Didn’t want this room to feel “kiddish” in five years, so most of the character comes from both lighting and furniture.

Lighting under the bed, strip lighting tracing the furniture edges, even the ceiling has a little starlight detail worked in.

Watch till the end to see all the small touches that change the whole feel of the room.

Built for two boys to actually grow into, not out of.

The wardrobe doors carry a New York skyline print, and it’s not just decoration - it sets the whole travel theme running through the room. That continues into the wall art with a 3D world map, and a set of curved cubby shelves for the little collectibles and plants.

Details carry the weight here. The black spindle leg desk, the wave shaped mirror echoing the headboard, the glass-front cabinet with mesh detailing. Every piece feels chosen specifically for this room.

The wave headboard is the statement here, but the room’s built to grow.

Neutral tones, grey and navy that won’t read as a “kids’ room” in a few years, and a study nook worked into the bedside instead of a separate desk that gets outgrown. It’s designed to move with the child, not just for the age they’re at now.

Warm wood floors, layered curtains, small considered pieces like the ceramic vase - the kind of room that won’t need a redo by the time they’re teenagers.

Warm wood tones, soft textures, light that changes the mood through the day.

The island bed anchors the room, floating away from the walls so you can walk right around it. Behind the TV, we built out a textured feature wall to incorporate some patterns in the room.

The ombre curtains fade from deep to light as they fall, catching a different tone depending on the time of day. And the mirror isn’t just functional, it’s placed to pull in light from the window and make the whole space feel bigger than it is.

Find a detailed breakdown of all these features on our page.

That brass oval mirror is the first thing you notice walking in. Curved frame, warm gold against all that blush pink - it catches the light from the pendant right next to it.

Little brass leaf handles scattered across the wardrobe wall as if they’ve drifted off the mirror itself. Pretty, but they’re pulling double duty as actual handles.

Walnut wardrobe fronts, dusty rose headboard, cream knit throw thrown over the quilt. Warm without trying too hard.
