In this bright, open, living space which is filled with plenty of natural light it is these differently upholstered brown leather sofas that blend well with the minimalistic design. This home sure thrives on clean lines, neutral colours and of course the vibe of the sea.

The informal living area also has an interesting artwork of running horses made from carved marble and platinum. The music system in this area is built in within the diagonal veneer paneling.

Designed for a family of 3, Tranquility - The Beach House is located in the heart of Mumbai touching the serene coastline.

Their love for music and a great social life were the best guides to achieving their dream space.

The house follows a modern minimalist concept of clean lines, strong geometric shapes and simplicity enhanced by lots of natural light coming in from both east and west with uninterrupted view of the ocean.

The dining and formal area is divided by a shelving system installed between a callacutta marble cladded column and black veneer clad built-in speakers seamlessly integrating music as a part of design.

The open-plan design merges dining, living room, bar area and terrace, creating a flow between spaces. A glass partition between the terrace and formal living allows for outdoor space to merge into indoors.

At AVN Interiors, we hold our clients in the highest regard, appreciating their trust in us with their sacred spaces. While we take immense pride in elevating our clients’ homes, we respect their privacy and hence we refer to the houses using the initials of the owner’s name.

A full height window in the bathroom was treated carefully by layering with blinds, a full height mirror and floating counter in front to create privacy and add functionality.

When asked about the challenges, Aditi said, β€œThe biggest challenge we faced was the compact size of the bathrooms which we needed to look luxurious. We overcame the challenge by adopting the mindset of β€˜size doesn’t matter’ and executed fully functional and posh looking interiors for the bathrooms.”-

β€œInspired by modern minimalism, this straight-lined home adorns the glamorous Mumbai Skyline. Located in Worli, nestled within a glamorous skyrise, this 900 sqft abode stands apart from its neighbors. Spacious and airy, a muted three-colour palette engulfs the interiors. Natural oakwood, whites and black accents create a timeless aesthetic, further enhancing the simple materials. β€œThe first thing we noticed when we walked in, was the tall height of over 10 feet, a rarity in a city such as Mumbai. This gave the space a vast expanse, making the design process exciting for us, right from the get-go,” said Aditi Vora Nair, founder, AVN Interiors.”-

Hidden storages and reflective surfaces have helped us keep the space void of undue clutter, allowing us to provide more space for circulation”, explained Aditi when asked about the planning process.
