Before materials, furniture or colour palette, the real first question is: who are we designing for? A student after college, a family at dinner, a Gen Z customer chasing a shareable moment, they all use the same space differently.

That audience shapes zoning, seating density, ordering flow, lighting, acoustics, materials, circulation and ambience.

But demographics are only the start. Two customers of the same age can use a restaurant completely differently, which is why good F&B design goes beyond age and income to actual behaviour.

Before asking “what should this look like,” ask “who is coming, why, and how they should use the space.” That’s where real restaurant design begins.

Save this before planning your next café or restaurant concept.

One brand. Multiple outlets. Zero identity confusion.

Sandwizzaa started as a single QSR. Today, they’re running multiple outlets across Mumbai, and every single one still feels like the same brand.

We didn’t just design another restaurant, we engineered a format: one design system built to repeat itself without losing what made the first outlet work.

That’s the difference between opening outlets and building a brand.

A corner unit that doesn’t shout, it settles you in.

This is Half Light Coffee, Gurgaon, from the two glass fronts wrapping the mall corner to the little shelf in the back holding books, a plant, and a coffee bag like someone actually lives here.

Nothing on these walls is filler. The gallery frames, the banquette seating, the shelf styling, all placed with a reason.

Good cafe design isn’t about doing more. It’s about making every corner earn its place.

Swipe through the build.

We’re hiring. Are you the one who finds the lead and closes the deal?

SprintCo is looking for a Sales Executive to join us in Mumbai. Someone who can walk into a room with a restaurant owner and walk out with a signed deal, because they understand what we build and why it matters to F&B businesses.

Position: Sales Executive
Experience: 5+ years
Location: Mumbai
Type: Full-time, on-site

If closing deals is where you’re strongest, we’d like to talk. Drop your CV or DM us to apply.

A taste of home, right before take-off.

This is Tea Tapri, Lucknow Airport, and what you’re watching isn’t just a kiosk, it’s a mood brewed for the runway. We took the warmth of a neighbourhood chai stop and folded it into a space built for speed: terracotta for warmth, cane for character, brass for that quiet sophistication.

Design isn’t just how a kiosk looks in a terminal. It’s how it feels in the ten minutes before you board.

Watch the story unfold, tile by tile, sip by sip.

Why is your restaurant always empty? It is rarely the food.

After walking hundreds of F&B sites across India, these are the 3 restaurant design mistakes we see kill footfall every time: an entrance that does not invite people in, a seating layout that breaks flow, and lighting that feels clinical instead of inviting.

Restaurant interior design is not decoration, it is the reason a guest walks in, stays, and comes back. If your space is beautiful but empty, the layout is usually the real problem, not the menu.

Tag a restaurant owner who needs to see this.

From the street corner to the last sip.

This is Coffee Culture, Citylight, Surat, and what you’re watching isn’t just a walkthrough, it’s a mood desiged. We took the energy of a neighbourhood coffee stop and shaped it into a space that flows: a facade that pulls you in, a counter built for the rush, corners made for lingering.

Design isn’t just how a cafe looks from the road. It’s how it feels the moment your order hits the table.

Watch the story unfold, exterior to interior, frame by frame.

The design details that makes guests spend more, and most restaurant owners walk past it every day.

Restaurant interior design is not just about looking good for Instagram, small, deliberate choices in lighting, material, and layout quietly change how long a guest stays and how much they order. This is the kind of detail that costs almost nothing to add during a build, but is expensive to retrofit later.

This is what we mean when we say every square foot should work harder, not just look better.

Save this for your next design review.
