When a partition becomes part of the architecture.

Designed to divide space without becoming visually passive, this screen integrates veneer marquetry as its defining element. The composition brings together natural and dyed veneers, contrasting wood grains, colour and geometric forms each piece carefully placed to create rhythm across the surface.

The result is a partition that performs its practical role while introducing material depth and visual character to the space. Here, marquetry isn’t applied as decoration; it becomes part of the architectural language.

A Landscape, composed in wood veneer.

This intricate veneer marquetry panel brings a Japanese-inspired garden to life through layers of natural wood, carefully selected grains and finely cut veneer details. From flowering branches and bamboo to mountains, water, butterflies and blooms, every element is shaped from veneer.

The material language was kept restrained, but never one-dimensional.

For Amvigor Organics, Tank Design Studio Darshak Tank Sanjali Khanted Tank Design Studio worked extensively with Venzo veneers, using a combination of plain, grain and textured veneers across the workplace. A nearly 100-ft wall in the staff area was entirely panelled in veneer, helping conceal storage and columns while keeping the long stretch visually cohesive.

For the architects, the breadth of Venzo’s veneer selection made it easier to find the right grain, texture and finish for different spaces. But the material was only one part of the process — the experience of working with the Venzo team, from selection to what arrived on site, was equally important.

A material is only as good as the process behind it.

From Pravesh to Pragati, every space has its own identity.

For Amvigor Organics, Tank Design Studio approached the 14,000 sq. ft. workplace through clear zoning separating the office environment of workstations, cabins, meeting rooms and product displays from the dedicated laboratory for formulation and R&D.

But the distinction goes beyond function. The spaces were given culturally rooted names that reflect their individual purpose Pravesh for the entrance, Pragati for the conference room and Jigyasa for the brainstorming room.

A workplace where zoning, identity and workflow come together to shape how the space is experienced.

A workplace designed around the way work happens.

For Amvigor Organics, Tank Design Studio Tank Design Studio shaped an approx area of 14,000 sqft workplace that brings together offices, meeting spaces, product displays and a dedicated R&D laboratory under one cohesive design language.

Minimal in palette, warm in materiality and considered around the company’s workflow, the space balances the functional demands of a growing healthcare business with a distinctly human workplace.

The brief called for a space that could respond to the company’s distinct workflows while remaining minimal, warm and connected to nature. The result is a workplace where functional planning meets a considered material palette, with every zone designed to have its own identity.

A closer look at the spaces, decisions and details that shape the finished environment.

A house designed to slow everything down.

Thehraav, abvacation house designed by, AS Architects, at Avadh Utopia was a retreat for a family living in Mumbai where open spaces, double-height volumes and a considered mix of natural materials like veneer, marble and stone create a quieter rhythm.

From the expansive living space and sculptural kitchen to the family lounge, theatre and temperature controlled pool, every space was shaped around how the family would spend time here.

Some interiors make a statement through colour. Others do it through form.

Here, geometric marquetry brings together contrasting wood tones, angular lines and layered shapes to create a composition that feels architectural yet warm. The changing direction of the grains gives the panel a sense of movement, while the surrounding curved detailing softens its strong geometry.

Set within a quiet palette of warm neutrals and earthy tones, the piece becomes a natural focal point bringing structure, texture and character into the space.

Because good design isn’t always about adding more, sometimes it’s about giving one element room to speak.

WHEN THE HEADBOARD SETS THE TONE.

A botanical marquetry composition brings together bold florals, fine linear details and a considered palette of burgundy, black and natural tones. Framed by rich wood veneer, the intricate pattern adds depth and character to the space, giving the bed a strong and distinctive presence.

The ’80s are having a moment again. We’re bringing them back in veneer.

Think bold geometry, rich colour, unapologetic pattern & the unmistakable character of burl wood. Paired with marquetry, its swirling grain becomes part of the composition, creating patterns that feel collected rather than manufactured.

A little nostalgic. A little maximalist. And entirely rooted in the individuality of natural veneer.

Consider this our take on the 80s revival
