Swipe and watch it build. Three arched plaster niches holding nothing but light. Travertine running full height up the kitchen wall and straight into the counter, no joint in sight. A headboard wall drawn entirely by one curved line of cove light. And a hand-carved mandir, given its own wall in a bedroom that is otherwise completely modern.

Four rooms, four material moments, one palette holding all of it together.

This is the part we love — when a home stops looking designed and starts looking inevitable.

Three arched recesses in hand-textured plaster, holding nothing. In a flat where every wall is under pressure to store something, leaving one wall to do nothing but hold light is the decision the room is built on.

Book-matched marble on the television wall, fluted walnut either side, a single stone floor running unbroken through to the dining. Four materials, repeated with discipline.

We work with a small number of homes at a time, which is the only way this level of detailing survives site.

Bedroom design for parents in a Mumbai 3BHK — cane headboard, fluted walnut wardrobes, stone wall.

Deliberately quieter than the master. Cane and walnut against stone, an arched flute routed into the wardrobe shutters, a woven pendant that frees the nightstand for the things actually kept there.

Most 3BHK plans hand the parents the smallest room and the least thought. We treat this one as the second most important room in the house, because in most Mumbai homes it is.

Master bedroom design in a Mumbai 3BHK — textured headboard wall, curved cove lighting, marble console.

No table lamps. A cone-cluster pendant drops beside the bed instead, and the headboard wall is drawn by a single curved light profile rather than lit by anything you can see.

Textured plaster, tan leather, grey linen laminate, one bay of glass in an otherwise closed wardrobe run. The restraint is what makes it read as calm rather than styled.

A master bedroom is the one room the owner sees at the end of every difficult day. We plan it first, not last.

Bedroom with a built-in mandir — Mumbai 3BHK interior design.

A hand-carved arched mandir with mirrored shutters, built into the room. Not improvised into a passage corner, not hidden behind a curtain — given a wall, and given the only ornament in the room.

Everything around it stays flat and modern: fluted headboard niche, plain wardrobes, walnut door. The two hold because neither was softened to accommodate the other.

Most families ask for a mandir late, once the drawings are frozen. Asked early, it becomes architecture.

Modular kitchen design for a Mumbai 3BHK — travertine run, handleless shutters, integrated appliances.

The stone doesn’t stop at the counter. Travertine carries full height up the splashback, so the eye never finds the joint where most kitchens give themselves away.

Tall units taken to the slab — no dust ledge, no forfeited 300mm. Appliances built in rather than parked. A fluted-glass tower for the ovens, lit from inside, because a kitchen in a home this size is looked at as often as it’s cooked in.

Ten years detailing kitchens for Hyatt, Marriott and Oberoi properties before we ever built one for a family. It shows in the parts you don’t photograph.

Three bedrooms. And a living room that quietly becomes a fourth.

We weren’t after a style. We were after a home that still feels right in a decade — where the materials do the talking, and nothing needs replacing to stay beautiful.

Modern, without a date stamp on it.

A Modern Home with a Heart of Tradition – 3BHK at Oberoi Sky City, Mumbai

Every home tells a story. For this 3BHK residence at Oberoi Sky City, Mumbai, the brief was clear yet layered: “We want a modern, open kitchen and fresh spaces… but nothing too experimental.”

Balancing that fine line between contemporary design and traditional comfort, we shaped a home that feels open, light, and welcoming — without ever stepping outside the family’s comfort zone.

✔️ An open kitchen that works beautifully for Indian living, yet carries a global touch.
✔️ A soft, neutral palette that keeps the spaces airy, calm, and timeless.
✔️ Clean layouts that maximize storage, light, and flow — designed for both daily routines and family gatherings.
✔️ Bedrooms designed for freedom — uncluttered, minimal, and intentional, with plenty of room for movement, activities, and ease of living.

The result? A space that feels modern and elegant, but still deeply familiar — like home should.

✨ Design Thought: Luxury isn’t about following trends. It’s about listening, respecting traditions, and creating spaces that reflect who you are.

If you’re exploring 3BHK apartment interiors in Mumbai or live in Oberoi Sky City and want a home that blends tradition with modern comfort, this project shows how the best of both worlds can come together seamlessly.
