Can a vending kiosk become more than just a vending kiosk?
This question inspired my latest concept for a mall-based Snack & Coffee kiosk.
The brief was simple: create a kiosk that is modern, minimal, easy to maintain, and built using eco-friendly materials. Instead of designing a conventional enclosure, I explored how sustainability and customer experience could become part of the design itself.
The result is a kiosk that combines:
* Sustainable and market-available materials
* Integrated greenery to introduce a biophilic experience
* Efficient space planning for snack and coffee vending machines
* Clean, seamless surfaces for easier maintenance and cleaning
* A compact yet visually impactful form that attracts attention in busy retail environments
The planter integrated into the structure transforms the kiosk into a small green landmark within the mall, creating a connection between nature and technology while enhancing the overall customer experience.
For me, good design is not only about aesthetics. it is about creating functional, sustainable, and memorable spaces that improve how people interact with their environment.

Sustainable Vending Kiosk Concept for Modern Retail Spaces

Designed this vending kiosk concept with a focus on minimalism, sustainability, functionality, and user experience perfectly suited for modern shopping malls and high-traffic public spaces.

The client requested a kiosk that would: ✔ Have a clean and contemporary appearance
✔ Be easy to maintain and clean
✔ Utilize eco-friendly materials
✔ Create a strong visual presence to attract customers

Design Approach

• Smart Space Planning – Optimized the layout to accommodate multiple vending machines while maintaining a compact footprint.
• Eco-Friendly Materials – Selected sustainable, market-available materials to reduce environmental impact without compromising aesthetics.
• Affordable & Practical – Designed with cost-effective solutions that are feasible for large-scale implementation.
• Customer Attraction – Integrated warm lighting, natural wood finishes, and a modern form language to create an inviting retail experience.

The combination of sustainable materials, soft curves, and minimalist detailing helps the kiosk stand out while remaining timeless, durable, and easy to maintain.
