From more than 4,300 entries across 91 countries, two Charged Voids projects are on the Dezeen Awards 2026 shortlist.

A library, cafeteria, guest rooms and gathering space were first planned as three separate buildings. We folded them into one stacked form with no front and no back, so campus life moves through it and beneath it.

In a polluted industrial belt, the building turns inward behind green buffers. A diagonal grid and double- and triple-height volumes turn a long, narrow site into a spiralling walk through the showroom. It is where the brand is made, shown and remembered.

An identity, taking shape.

Architecture begins to acquire its identity when form is not an isolated gesture, but a response to where it stands.

Here, the building steps back as it rises—responding to its context while opening the building to light, views, balconies and generous service spaces.

Still under construction, the architecture is beginning to reveal its character.
