Candle care is essential for maximizing their lifespan and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. Here are some tips to help you care for your candles:

1. Trim the Wick: Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch in length. Trimming the wick helps prevent excessive smoking, uneven burning, and soot buildup.

2. Center the Wick: Make sure the wick is centered in the candle before lighting it. This helps ensure an even burn and prevents the candle from tunneling.

3. Avoid Drafts: Place candles away from drafts, such as open windows, fans, or air vents. Drafts can cause the candle flame to flicker excessively and may lead to uneven burning.

4. Burn in Intervals: For the first burn, allow the candle to burn long enough to melt the wax pool all the way to the edges of the container. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn in subsequent uses. Avoid burning candles for more than 4 hours at a time.

5. Extinguish Safely: Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame to extinguish the candle. Avoid blowing out the candle, as this can cause hot wax to splatter.
