I had taken an online workshop on paper bag making... I am unable to find the group screenshot.. but could find these photos shared by the participants :).. It was a wonderful experience for me!...
When I take such types of workshops, I have noticed a common misunderstanding that using 'ONLY paper bags' is eco-friendly. Paper bags have their pros and cons. I would definitely prefer frequent reusing of a combination of 1-2 good quality plastic bags + cloth bags + as and when required paper bags over many years until they wear out instead of using new paper bags frequently and throwing them away in our common dustbin that would finally end up in a landfill!!!. The used paper bags could at least be given separately to raddiwalas or for paper recycling organizations. I hope at least a few of my participants understand what, when, how to use and mainly to dispose.
There is a lot more to express about though! :)
