A Vision Meeting is not just about looking back at numbers. It is about looking forward with more clarity.

October began with the team coming together to celebrate September’s wins, recognise our OKR performers and, more importantly, sharpen the way we think about the month ahead.

From conversations around time management and prioritisation to making faster, clearer decisions, the session was a reminder that progress is not always about doing more.

Sometimes, it is about knowing what deserves your time, what deserves your attention and what deserves a decision.
A little celebration.
A lot of reflection.
And a stronger direction for what comes next.

Winning September. Aiming higher for October. ✨
Our October Vision Meeting was part celebration, part reflection and a lot of learning.
🏆 Celebrating our September wins
👏 Recognising our OKR winners
🎯 Setting the direction for October
⏱️ Learning to manage time better
📌 Understanding prioritisation
🧠 Making clearer, faster decisions
One of our biggest takeaways?
There will always be more things to do than there is time to do them.
Growth comes from learning what deserves our attention, what can wait, what needs a decision today, and where our time can create the most impact.
September gave us momentum.
October is about using it better.
Here’s to stronger people, sharper decisions and bigger goals. 🥂

A good month gives you results.
A useful month also gives you perspective.
September gave us a lot to celebrate at Anante Designs. Stronger outcomes, people stepping up, and some well-deserved recognition for our OKR winners.
But what mattered just as much was the conversation that followed.
Pratul Bajaj used the October Vision Meeting to shift the focus from only asking, “What did we achieve?” to asking, “How are we choosing what deserves our time?”
That opened up a much more meaningful discussion around prioritisation, decision-making and the way we spend our attention as a team.
Because growth can get noisy.
More projects. More conversations. More ideas. More decisions.
And somewhere in that, clarity becomes a real advantage.
What do we solve first?
What can wait?
What needs a quick call?
What deserves deeper thought?
What should not be taking our time at all?
Those are not just productivity questions. They shape the quality of the work, the speed of the team and eventually the kind of company we become.
September was about recognising progress.
October is about becoming more deliberate with it.
A stronger team is not just one that works hard.
It is one that learns how to think better together.

Built together. Built over time.

Anantē was never built around a single moment, a single project, or a single idea.

For Pratul and Neelam Bajaj, it has been years of building side by side. Bringing different perspectives to the same table. Challenging each other, backing each other, making difficult decisions, learning from the ones that didn’t work, and constantly raising the standard for the ones that did.

Over time, the projects became bigger.
The team grew.
New cities became home.
And an idea gradually became a practice shaped by hundreds of projects and the people behind them.

But growth has never simply been about becoming bigger.

It has been about becoming better, together.

15 years in, there is a lot to look back on.
And still, so much left to build.

The caption should tell the part the static deliberately leaves out: everything that happened between the drawing and the photograph.

A finished piece can make the process look deceptively simple.

This one started with a working drawing.

A radius marked R75.
A groove handle detailed here.
An MS rod specified there.
A curve measured down to the millimetre.
Lighting planned before there was anything there to illuminate.

On paper, everything had a line, a number and a name.

Then someone had to build it.

And that's where a drawing meets reality.

The curve has to actually curve.
The shutters have to meet cleanly.
The metal supports have to feel almost weightless.
The light has to glow without announcing where it comes from.
And every material has to come together as one piece, not a collection of details.

There are site adjustments. Conversations with craftsmen. Measurements checked again. Small decisions that will never appear in the final photograph.

Until one day, you look at it and the technical drawing is nowhere to be seen.

The dimensions have disappeared.
The annotations have disappeared.
The complexity has disappeared.

But the thinking hasn't.

That's the part of design we love.

Not just imagining what something could become, but staying with the idea long enough to make sure it actually does.

Designed with intent.
Executed with care.

There was a time when Pratul needed to be everywhere.
At the drawing table.
On calls.
At site.
Checking details.
Answering questions.

Making sure the idea on paper survived the reality of ex*****on.
And for a long time, that felt like the job.
Until the job changed.
Because somewhere along the way, the people around him stopped asking, “What would Pratul do?”

They already knew.
They knew what deserved another look.
What wasn't good enough yet.
What detail couldn't be compromised.
And when something needed to be redone rather than explained away.
So now, when Pratul walks onto a site, he still looks.
Closely.
He still notices the junction that is slightly off, the finish that could be better, the detail most people would probably walk past.
But increasingly, there's less for him to say.
And that's a rather strange milestone for a founder.
You spend years making yourself indispensable, only to realise that one of the greatest signs of growth is becoming less necessary.
Not because the standard dropped.
Because the standard stayed, even when he stepped away.
The site doesn't need him here.
And perhaps that's the best sign that he built the team right.

What do you do when a home needs more rooms... but the last thing it needs is more walls?

That was the little puzzle this Bandra home gave us.

The living flowed into the dining.
The dining into the passage.
The passage into everything else.

Beautifully open, yes.

But perhaps a little too open.

We could have introduced partitions. Screens. Furniture. Something that said, "this ends here, that begins there."

Instead, we looked down.

What if the floor could tell you where to go?

A line was drawn.

That line became a different tile.

It travelled through the home, curved around spaces, created pathways and quietly began giving each area its own identity.

And then someone looked up.

The ceiling began following the same conversation, defining from above what the flooring was suggesting below.

That's how a simple line became living, dining, study and passage.

The funny thing is, when you walk through the finished home, you don't really notice any of this.

You just know where to go.

And that's perhaps our favourite part.

The design is doing its job without constantly reminding you that it's there.

Sometimes, defining a space has nothing to do with dividing it.

The plan for the evening was fairly simple.

Dress up.
Go to Filmfare.
Find our seats.
Enjoy the show.

Then someone said,

"Pratul and Neelam, you're up next."

Well... that escalated nicely. 😄

A few minutes later, they weren't watching the Filmfare Awards Marathi 2026 anymore.

They were standing on the stage, Black Lady in hand, presenting the Filmfare for Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Male) to Siddharth Jadhav.

There was the wait before the cue.

That little walk from the audience to the stage.

The envelope.

The announcement.

And then that lovely moment of handing over one of Indian cinema's most recognisable trophies to its newest recipient.

Not quite the usual evening out.

And definitely one for the Anantē memory book.

Congratulations, Siddharth Jadhav.

Some evenings you attend.

Some you come home with a story from.
