“Dessert lovers… idha miss pannadheenga!”

Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients

Water – 150 ml

Sugar – 90 g

Cocoa powder – 38 g

Vanilla essence – ¼ tsp

Method

1. In a saucepan, add water and sugar.
Heat on medium flame and bring it to a boil.

2. Let the mixture boil for 5–6 minutes
until the sugar dissolves completely and the syrup slightly thickens.

3. Reduce the flame to low and add the cocoa powder.
Whisk continuously to avoid lumps and ensure it mixes smoothly.

4. Add vanilla essence and continue to cook the sauce for another 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
The sauce will turn glossy and slightly thick.

5. Turn off the heat and allow the sauce to cool completely.
It will thicken more as it cools.

6. Transfer to a clean, dry container and store in the refrigerator.
Stays fresh for 20–25 days.
