At the core of everything we do, is our love for the hills. So you'll find some Timmur (Himalayan Sichuan pepper) we picked from Uttarakhand or smoked chillies & ginger we scored from Manipur or other hill ingredients bringing the flavours together in these little jars.

We are falling more and more in love with fermentation. Being cooks, we always need to have control in the kitchen. But fermentation is kind of an antithesis where we learn to create in synch with nature, accepting all her uncertainties and giving in to the magic. The only rule being to come up with something that tastes good, and is super good for your gut.

These fermented goodies apart from their healthy dose of probiotics help you get more from each ingredient by making nutrients more bio available and creating a host of healthy enzymes. For deets or questions DM us! 🙏🏽

Here's a throwback to our last pop up in Bombay at the Magazine Street Kitchen, as part of the four kitchens that came together for their second anniversary celebrations.

Honoured and humbled to cook in a space like MSK, where the cooks get more space than the guests. It was a weekend we'll remember for a long long time and the immense learnings from it hopefully all our lives. We cooked, laughed, cried, drank and just lived more for the three days in that kitchen. And for that, we'll forever be grateful. 🥀

For our recipes, we tried to represent different hill regions through each plate. Here's what we cooked up.

✳️ Manipur | A street snack walk down Imphal's Ima Keithel market | Herb and veggie fritters, Dried peas and chana street snacks, Ginger Bayleaf Tea

✳️ Uttarakhand | Farmer's Breakfast | Himalayan cow ghee smeared Mandua rotis, Kumaoni and Garhwali Alu gutka, Flavoured salts, Mustard greens

✳️ Nepal | Newari Haku Chicken Choila smoked with cedar leaves, Gorkhali Mula ko achaar

✳️ Meghalaya | Jaintia Doh Neiiong (Black Sesame Pork), Sticky Rice, Khasi Cabbage Perilla Salad

✳️ Assorted Chips and dips platter with chutneys and our dips with ingredients and recipes from Uttarakhand, Nagaland, Tripura and Mizoram

✳️ Dessert | Uttarakhand Bay Laurel and lemon cake, Apricot kernels, Buransh/Rhododendron syrup, Kumaoni preserved seabuckthorn berries, Himalayan Caraway cream

We couldn't have done this without the relentless support from our friends who helped and a certain girl who does not believe in facebook, and Thapa ji. And our dear friends Ronak and Jahan from The Omakase Kitchen who helped us bring the dessert to life. Looking forward to cooking many many such meals for you, and to keep bringing our dear hills to our beloved coast through food again. 💚

We're gonna be at our first farmers market tomorrow. Yay! Stoked to have our stall at the Sunday farmers market by at cuffeparade tomorrow! 🌾

We've brewed some Kombucha, and made a few of our favourite chutneys, pickles and dips. Everything organic, everything yum. Come say hi and get some good good! The market opens at 8 am and stays till 1 pm. 💚

Get your jar of our hand made Bhang/Hemp seed chutneys and Rajma Hummus. We're spending this week toasting seeds, chillies, bhang and making chutneys. 🍋🍋

The sweet and sour bhang chutneys from this batch will have two variants - one with the Galgal/Hill lemon pulp we've preserved for a few months. And the other with the green mango or kairi in season right now. All organic and healthy ingredients in our dips. A jar would last you 7-10 days in the fridge. ☘️

We've also brought two Munsyari rajma batches back this year. The creamiest rajma you can get! Our hummus is made with this and perilla/wild sesame. Full of protein and antioxidants from the beans and perilla, this is perfect as a dip for anything from carrot and celery sticks to pita bread or chips. 💫

To place your order, please DM us here or mail us at [email protected]. We'll only be taking orders till Friday afternoon (post payment confirmation) and the jars will need to be picked up over the weekend from Bandra West.
