We did a ethnic wear boutique almost more than a year back.
The space was transformed from a garage to shop to a fine ethnic wear boutique.
Follow this Candid interview to know what our client Shalini Kapadia has to say about her space :
Q - What is the change, that the ambience(redesigning) of the space(boutique) bought into you?
A - Earlier, it was a shop kind of a setup. The revamping converted it from a "shop" to a "studio". The ambience give a serious upmarket feel to both me & the clients.
Q - How has the revamping of the studio affected your clientele?
A - My clients new & old, especially the new ones, naturally have more confidence in me just because of the aesthetically pleasing space that they are in.
Q - Overall, how the redesigning of the space affected your business?
A - The space does the selling for me, the space in which your are in showcases our taste and makes brand building less difficult. The space has added to our brand value, the sabyasachi wallpaper, just adds to the richness of a tight budgeted project.
The type of outfits we deal in automatically sells itself becasue of the vibe from the space.
Q - What role does the design elements play in your chain of thoughts?
A - The material palate is quite illustrative, like the use of turquoise color, golden bamboos, ethnic printed wallpaper along with old discarded blocks used for block printing, reminds us where we come from. At the same time the space has an experimental vibe to itself which allows us to try new things for our clients and deliver our best.
I spend most of my time in my boutique, and I enjoy it.
