“Tiles are easy. Legacy takes effort.”

Episode 2 — Kavi Flooring

A craft that has lived through centuries… quietly grounding temples, homes, and heritage spaces across coastal India.

Kavi flooring isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s a process rooted in lime, earth pigments, and the hands of skilled artisans who shape every layer with intention. No two surfaces are ever the same. No shortcuts. No mass production.

In a world dominated by fast materials and fleeting trends, this 500-year-old technique reminds us of something deeper—
that true design isn’t just seen, it is felt, aged, and experienced over time.

Today, Kavi flooring is making its way back into modern homes—not as a trend, but as a conscious choice.
A choice for sustainability.
A choice for authenticity.
A choice for spaces that tell stories.

At Avinnyya, we believe in reviving what was never meant to be forgotten—
reinterpreting traditional crafts into contemporary, livable luxury.

You see bricks, plywood, an unfinished space…
We see mornings by the window, dinners under warm lights, and moments waiting to unfold.

From lines and sketches to life and lifestyle stories every detail is imagined before it is built.

What begins as a plan on paper,
slowly transforms into a space you’ll live, feel, and grow in. ✨

This is not just design in progress… it’s a life in the making.

Hey!!! 👋
We are interior designers, and here’s what we’d never forget in a bedroom electrical plan ↓

Because a beautiful bedroom isn’t just about aesthetics… it’s about comfort, function & mood.

✨ Sockets above bedside table height ,no more awkward bending.
✨ Wall lamps / hanging lights on both sides ,balanced & practical.
✨ Wardrobe lighting ,because guessing outfits is not a vibe.
✨ Proper ambience lighting ,layered lights = luxury feel.

Good design is invisible.
You only notice it when it’s missing.

Save this before you start your bedroom interiors 🤍
And if you’re planning your space in Bangalore or Varanasi, you know whom to call.

Grateful for this profession 🤍
As interior designers, we don’t just design spaces we create memories. From homes filled with everyday moments to restaurants where stories are shared, offices where dreams take shape, and showrooms that inspire, every space holds a piece of life within it. Designing with purpose, emotion, and meaning is truly a blessing.

We merged two smaller rooms to create this expansive space, transforming a beam and column at the center into a graceful arch with profile lights. A simple yet thoughtful design detail that adds character, charm, and a sense of timeless elegance to the room.

Good design isn’t about perfection it’s about intention.
These common mistakes can make even a beautiful home feel off-balance.
Save this reel for your next project and DM us if you want a designer who thinks through every detail so you don’t have to. 🏡
