First Khelo India Tribal Games 2026 Kicks Off In Chhattisgarh 🏆

of Chhattisgarh in association with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India will officially commence the first edition of the Khelo India Tribal Games at Raipur in on 25 March 2026 in the presence of Hon’ble Union Minister and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh (CMO Chhattisgarh).

Collage Design as the Overlays Consultant is working closely with Sports & Youth Welfare Department, Chhattisgarh, Sports Authority of India (SAI) and other Stakeholders to plan the infrastructure for the games to ensure seamless Ex*****on and Event Programming.

The Games will be held across , and , covering nine sports , with the team at Collage Design fully focused on delivering venues that are , with National Regulations and Ready for .

World Athletics Awards India Hosting Rights For World Indoor Athletics Championships 2028 🏟️

World Indoor Athletics Championships 2028 will be hosted by India for the first time at Reliance Foundation (RF) Odisha Athletics High Performance Center (HPC), Kalinga Stadium Sports Complex, , Odisha.

Collage Design as the Consultant designed this state of the art arena, a first of its kind in and the largest in South . The facility is fully compliant with World Athletics and meets stringent criteria related to , Facilities and Technical Capabilities, providing the perfect to host this global event.

The fully air conditioned Arena is with comprehensive facilities to accommodate complete range of events at this to be held in 2028. The arena houses a fixed gallery for 2000 fans with provision to expand, ensuring an electric atmosphere for to witness the action throughout the .

The Government of Odisha has been instrumental in shaping the sports infrastructure landscape in India. We sincerely thank the Department of Sports and Youth Services, Government of Odisha and Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) for the opportunity to design and deliver this world class arena.

Sports Authority of India (SAI), in association with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), announced the launch of one of India's largest dedicated High-Performance Centre (HPC) at the SAI Campus in Bengaluru, . The Foundation Stone Ceremony of this landmark project was held in the presence of Hon’ble Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya - Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Shri. Hari Ranjan Rao - Director General, Sports Authority of India and Dr. D.K. Sunil - Chairman & Managing Director, on 31 December 2025 in Bengaluru.

Collage Design, as the and Project Management , has been working closely with SAI and its team of Sports Scientists and to develop this state-of-the-art HPC for and Athletes. The HPC will consolidate all performance related disciplines — Sports , , and , Anthropometry, , , , and — within a single integrated facility. This will enable seamless integration of expertise, resources and services.

This HPC is designed to seamlessly fit into the campus and enhance the connectivity to the surrounding facilities. The floors generate a sequence of functional terraces and gardens at multiple levels, enhancing athlete experience, promoting visual connectivity, ensuring natural light and ventilation, while integrating the built form with the surroundings.

The project will focus on optimizing athlete health and well-being, maximizing performance outcomes, developing and implementing injury prediction and models, enhancing education and awareness among and and promoting lifelong skill development for athletes, coaches and sports . This facility is not merely about testing and assessment; it is about creating a sustainable high-performance ecosystem where science and practice converge to consistently produce .

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited for funding this project through their initiative and Sports Authority of India for envisioning this multi storied sports centre to serve generations of athletes, strengthen the sports eco system and creating an environment where excellence can thrive. The HAL-SAI in will be a benchmark for Accessible and development of Sporting Infrastructure in India, as we prepare to host the Commonwealth Games in 2030 and aspire to host the Paralympic Games and Olympics in the future.
