🔨 Before the first stitch — we built everything from scratch.

When our tufting supplies were finally on their way, we didn't just wait. We got to work.
We drove to the store, picked out the wood, nails, screws, everything we needed — and borrowed tools from friends. My boyfriend took on the frame build and honestly? He knocked it out fast and confidently, like he'd done it a hundred times. 🪵💪
Then came the shelves — our little corner where all the magic would happen. Organized, cozy, ours.
Looking at it all set up… that feeling was something else. ✨
We didn't just buy a kit and start. We built this thing together, from the ground up. Every board, every screw, every shelf has a little piece of us in it. And soon — every rug will too. 🧶❤️
This is more than a hobby. This is something we're putting our whole hearts into.

Hi! I'm Olena, and this is my first rug. A fish. Of course it's a fish. 🐟
My boyfriend is a fisherman — it's not just a hobby, it's a huge part of who he is. One day I stumbled across a video of someone making a tufted fish rug and I just… couldn't stop watching. It was so beautiful. The idea that you can create something like that with your own hands felt like magic.
We looked at each other and said: let's do this.
I've been making things with my hands since childhood — knitting, embroidery, drawing — so I was confident we could pull it off. We made a list of everything we needed, ordered it all, and while we waited for the delivery… we didn't waste a single day. We watched every video, read every guide, studied everything there was to know about rug tufting.
And then the package arrived. 📦✨
This fish was the first thing I made. And I'm already thinking about what comes next — because there are so many ideas, so many shapes, so many stories to tell through yarn.
