A refined example of Neoclassical cabinetmaking in the Louis XVI tradition. The semicircular body is veneered in tulipwood with diagonal quarter-matched panels, framed by fine boxwood and ebony stringing. Each door bears a central oval medallion with ribbon-tied lyre motif — a recurring emblem of the period’s decorative vocabulary. The grey veined marble top completes the piece with characteristic restraint. Available.
