Designing outdoors with the same attention as an interior.

For this project in the South of France, we chose Business & Pleasure Co. to shape the pool area — a brand we love for its ability to reinterpret classic resort furniture with a fresh, contemporary attitude.

Inspired by vintage beach clubs and the relaxed glamour of the 1960s and ’70s, their pieces combine nostalgic silhouettes, beautiful textiles and a distinctly Californian sense of leisure. The result feels playful and sophisticated without being over-designed.

The soft pinks, red accents and scalloped umbrellas were chosen to sit naturally within the dry landscape and existing garden, creating a poolside setting that feels as though it has always belonged here.

When two creative visions come together, a space becomes more than a beautiful interior it becomes a story.

We are proud to present KAYA VILLA, created through a special collaboration between Made in milano Milano and Catalina.

From the initial concept and spatial layout to the complete interior design, furniture selection, finishes and decorative details, every choice was shaped through a shared vision: to create a villa that feels refined, harmonious and deeply connected to its surroundings.

The result is a seamless dialogue between architecture, interiors and outdoor living where every space has its own character, yet remains part of one complete story.

We are delighted to share the final result.

A glimpse into our current project in Arlate, Como, shaped around the client’s refined and understated aesthetic.

The material palette was carefully selected to create warmth, softness, and a sense of quiet luxury: natural oak flooring, smooth neutral walls, brushed brass details, soft upholstery, and layered ambient lighting.

Each element works together to create an interior that feels calm, elegant, timeless, and inviting, while remaining comfortable and functional for its future life as an Airbnb.

A project defined by natural materials, subtle contrasts, and thoughtful details.

Currently designing a poolside experience that feels like summer itself.

Bold stripes, vibrant reds, sun-soaked lounges, and spaces designed for long afternoons that turn into unforgettable evenings.

What makes this project even more special? Every color combination, fabric palette, and finish has been custom developed and produced by our studio specifically for this collection. From the signature red-and-white stripes to the solid custom reds and contrasting frames, each element is carefully crafted to create a unique outdoor experience.

Lake Como Suite — Hotel Concept by Made in Milano
When we imagine Lake Como, we imagine heritage. A timeless elegance where architecture, nature and craftsmanship meet.
This suite was conceived as a tribute to the lake’s iconic identity: Murano glass chandeliers, woven bamboo details, Italian gardens, precious marbles and rich jacquard textiles.
The design draws inspiration from the geometry of historic Italian gardens, translating their patterns into carpets, ceilings and marble floors. Outside, the deep green of the landscape reflects on the lake’s calm waters. Inside, that same green becomes a language of refined serenity and quiet luxury.
A dialogue between exterior and interior. Between nature and craftsmanship. Between heritage and contemporary elegance.
A place where the timeless spirit of Lake Como lives in every detail.

Italian luxury, redefined.
Travertine wall panels replace traditional boiserie, creating a calm architectural backdrop for the sculptural Baxter bed in deep chocolate tones.
Light oak herringbone flooring with wide planks adds warmth and rhythm, while the bespoke ceiling cornice with hidden LED perimeter lighting frames the space with soft, diffused glow.
Vintage Murano glass lamps and a refined 60 cm chandelier introduce timeless Italian character. Custom bench at the foot of the bed, same hue — different texture — for layered depth.
A bedroom designed not just to sleep, but to experience.

An elegant dialogue between light, texture, and proportion. Ivory boiserie frames the space, while the sculptural chandelier floats above a refined dining table dressed in soft geometric fabrics. The herringbone oak floor, gently lightened and edged by a subtle perimeter frame, guides the eye toward the full-height glass wall opening onto a serene Dubai garden—palms, green lawns, and blurred sunlight beyond. A timeless interior where classical balance meets contemporary luxury.
