Green Wave is a collection of planters and pots designed by Marco Piva and made by Verde Profilo, created to interpret greenery as an integral part of architectural space. Defined by a minimalist language that combines rigorous lines with curved forms, the collection is designed to create ever-changing configurations across indoor and outdoor environments, both private and public.

The modularity of the Green Wave collection allows spaces to be defined, delimited and connected, creating a harmonious continuity between architecture and nature. This compositional freedom is complemented by a technical design focused on functionality and durability, with integrated solutions for water management and structural insulation.

Green Wave stems from the namesake design protocol developed by Studio Marco Piva, which interprets outdoor spaces as a natural extension of living environments. A philosophy that goes beyond the distinction between indoor and outdoor, conceiving greenery as an architectural element capable of fostering interaction, social life and wellbeing, in a continuous dialogue between nature, space and design.

Located in the prestigious Poetto district of Cagliari (Sardinia's coastline), this exclusive private villa is the result of the transformation of a late-1930s residence into a contemporary home where architecture, interiors and landscape merge into a seamless living experience.

Developed under the direction of Armando Bruno for Studio Marco Piva, the project reinterprets the original building through a refined architectural language inspired by Mediterranean Rationalism.

Orizzonti Sospesi, the wallpaper collection designed by Marco Piva for Zambaiti Parati, transforms the landscape into an emotional horizon suspended between matter, light and perception.

Soft transitions, nuanced textures and delicate chromatic vibrations blur the boundaries between nature and abstraction, turning the wall into a living architectural surface capable of shaping atmosphere, depth and the experience of space.

The collection unfolds through five evocative designs, each interpreted in four colour variations that amplify its expressive possibilities. Like fragments of a suspended landscape, they invite the gaze to slow down and rediscover the subtle beauty of what lies between presence and memory.

A contemplative journey where interiors become landscapes, and walls become stories waiting to be experienced.

Where does a design idea begin?
Pigments for Radici and Orizzonti Sospesi for Zambaiti Parati were born from a common creative vision developed by Marco Piva: an exploration of the relationship between nature and colour, stillness and movement, material and perception.
From this single inspiration, two complementary design languages took shape: the AI-generated video presented within the FRAMES installation at Milano Design Week distils this creative process into a visual narrative, revealing the origin of both collections and the invisible thread that connects them.

More than a backdrop, it becomes a synthesis of the project itself: a dialogue between natural imagery and chromatic expression, translated into immersive experiences and material surfaces.

A design narrative where material, colour, volume and visual perception come together.
Pigments, the new textile collection designed by Marco Piva for Radici, explores colour as a living material. Through layered tones, overlaps and expressive gestures, pigment becomes a graphic language capable of shaping rhythm, depth and vibration across the textile surface.

Inspired by the ways pigment is applied in painting, Pigments translates techniques such as layering, veiling, density and fading into decorative elements.

The result is a refined decorative system where each pattern offers a unique perception of space, engaging with interiors and transforming them through the expressive power of colour.

At Vesturvin residential complex, Studio Marco Piva transforms the Icelandic landscape into a contemporary interior design experience.
Located in Reykjavík’s regenerated harbor district, the development includes 210 residences conceived as complete turnkey homes. The interiors unfold through three stylistic concepts: Steam of Iceland, Urban Ocean, and Arctic Blue, each inspired by the country’s natural elements and changing atmospheres.
A rare approach for Iceland, every apartment was delivered fully fitted-out in collaboration with Italian brands, blending Nordic essentiality with refined Italian craftsmanship.

At Milan Design Week 2026, FRAMES comes to life through the voice of its designer.

In this reel, an interview by Antonia from the Studio Marco Piva team reveals the vision behind the installation and the dialogue between Radici and Zambaiti Parati — two distinct languages connected through material, colour, and perception.

From Pigments to Orizzonti Sospesi, the project unfolds as a sensory journey where nature, gesture, and surface meet within suspended frames. A space where design is not only seen, but experienced through light, rhythm, and emotion.

FRAMES, conceived by Studio Marco Piva for Milan Design Week 2026, presents a curated dialogue between Radici and Zambaiti Parati.
Inside the installation, the new Pigments collection by Radici and Orizzonti Sospesi by Zambaiti Parati define a spatial system where horizontal and vertical surfaces interact through colour, material and light.
Carpets and wallpapers construct a layered environment in which perception is guided through rhythm, thresholds and visual saturation. White LED lines expand the spatial reading, creating a progressive experience that connects each frame into a continuous narrative.
An installation where design becomes structure, and perception becomes movement.

At Milan Design Week 2026, FRAMES becomes an immersive dialogue between material, colour and perception.
Within the installation designed by Studio Marco Piva, the complementary languages of Radici and Zambaiti Parati come together in a sequence of suspended frames, where surfaces and textures unfold like still images in motion.
Inspired by nature and by the gesture of colour, the project explores contrast and harmony, balancing stillness and vibration.
A shared vision that transforms perception into experience.
