First site visit in Noto.

This 45 sqm apartment, tucked away in the historic heart of Noto Alta, has been acquired with the vision of becoming a carefully designed retreat for well-travelled guests who appreciate authenticity, thoughtful design and a genuine sense of place.

Vacant for over twenty years, it is about to begin a complete transformation.

My goal is to create a space where every square metre is meaningful, proving that great design is not about size, but about atmosphere, quality and attention to detail.

This is just the beginning.

A new chapter begins.
This week, SDL Studio Design starts a new journey in Sicily, beginning in Noto, one of the world’s most extraordinary Baroque cities.
We are not simply looking for properties to renovate.

We are looking for places with a story, an identity, and the potential to become extraordinary homes once again.

Over the coming months, we’ll explore apartments, historic townhouses, bagli, and country estates, meeting local artisans and rediscovering the authentic craftsmanship that makes this region unique.

Our first two small restoration projects will be the beginning of a much larger vision.
