LAESSE CERAMICS was born from the creative passion of Stefania Vazzoler, who has been sculpting and painting her ceramics for fifteen years in her farmhouse nestled in the Treviso countryside. Her journey began in the workshop of Luigi Cillo, an eclectic artist who instilled in her a love for materials and their shaping. Her initial phase of experimentation was characterized by the use of metals,
glass, and enamels. A constant pursuit of formal innovation eventually led her to ceramics, starting with the creation of small handcrafted items such as plates, cups, and bowls—everyday objects meant to be lived with, distinguished by their simple and essential forms and subtle, discreet colors. In 2009, a new creative path was forged through her collaboration with RMDESIGNSTUDIO, resulting in the birth of new collections. These objects became lighter and thinner, with purer and more essential shapes, broad and generous surfaces. The color palette expanded, evoking elements of earth, water, and fire. Now, material, form, and color blend in perfect harmony.

LAESSE CERAMICS nasce dalla passione creativa di Stefania Vazzoler, che da quindici anni modella e dipinge le sue ceramiche nel suo casale immerso nella campagna trevigiana. Il suo percorso inizia nella bottega di Luigi Cillo, artista eclettico che le trasmette l'amore per la materia e la sua modellazione. La sua prima fase di sperimentazione è caratterizzata dall'uso di metalli, vetro e smalti. La costante ricerca formale la conduce successivamente ad avvicinarsi alla ceramica, iniziando così a realizzare manufatti di piccola fattura, come piatti, tazze e ciotole: oggetti per la quotidianità, pensati per essere vissuti, dalle forme semplici ed essenziali e dai colori tenui e discreti. Nel 2009, dall'incontro con RMDESIGNSTUDIO, si avvia un nuovo percorso creativo e nascono nuove collezioni. Gli oggetti diventano leggeri e sottili, le forme più pure ed essenziali, le superfici ampie e generose. Materia, forma e colore si fondono ora in perfetto equilibrio.
