A few months ago we featured in , all thanks to displaying our textile collaboration 🙌
‘Blue Kebab’, the textile artwork of ours featuring was created with monoprinting. We rolled out a a load of blue ink and drew the design onto paper laid on top. A technique producing single, unique impressions. We explored an array of ideas, drawing, printing a whole collection of ideas. We settled on the ‘Blue Kebab’ as a favourite, as felt it captured our typically three-dimensional practise and fascination with fundamental geometric shapes.
In front of the textile sits our ‘Femme’ vase, one of a series of raw, reduction fired vessels we made right at the very start of our studio practise in 2018.
