Quando una scena emoziona già in sala doppiaggio, è qualcosa di speciale.🎙️
In questo dietro le quinte di “Eglefino”, interpreta uno dei momenti più intensi del film✨
Vi ricordate questa scena di Eglefino? 🎬❤️

Behind the scenes of Eglefino 🎬

Here, the film’s two animation techniques come together side by side: 2D and 3D sharing the same scene, each bringing its own visual language to the story. 🎨

This creative choice runs throughout the film, helping highlight Eglefino’s uniqueness — a little troublemaker finding his place in the world of fairy tales.

Making these different styles interact naturally was one of the project’s biggest challenges, but also one of the things that made the process so rewarding. ✨

Which version catches your eye the most?

Sometimes the performance starts long before the animation 🎭

For this scene from Eglefino, Uncle Boogie’s lead animator Leonardo Ferrò personally acted out the sequence that later became the reference for the final animation.

Using live-action performance as a starting point helped shape movement, rhythm and expression in a more natural and grounded way. ✨

Some decisions shape the story.
Others shape how we tell it ✨

In this scene from Eglefino, a key moment marks a turning point for the character.🎬

Alongside it, you can see three stages of production, where Eglefino in 3D and J-Hoo in 2D develop in parallel, showing how different techniques come together within the same sequence 🫂

Which stage do you find more interesting to watch?

We can definitely call this a dramatic exit. 🚪

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at a scene from Eglefino, where 2D and 3D animation work together to build a moment that’s… impactful, to say the least.

Different techniques, one shared scene — and one door that didn’t make it. ✨

Music is never just a background 🎵

In “Eglefino” music plays a central role in the storytelling, so here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the composition of one of the film’s iconic scenes, with instruments performed and recorded live. 🎸

But that’s not all: the musician’s movements were developed using real-life references, helping preserve a natural and authentic performance, without the use of AI. 😉

A special thanks to for the music and for the voice that brings this moment to life. ✨

Some bts are more impactful than others… especially when there’s a marble column involved 💥

In this scene from Eglefino, 2D and 3D animation interact to build a moment where character and environment meet in an unexpected way. ✨

Come si dà vita ad un personaggio? Diventando il personaggio! 😂

interpreta J-Hoo in “Eglefino”;
questa è solo la scena iniziale…

Avete visto il film?
Ma soprattutto, J-Hoo non è tenerissima? 🥰
