Kintsugi, the art of broken pieces has always been an inspiration for me. 2 broken cups turned into nice flower pots with two layers of gold decoration sheets.

Another “Socksy Rug” has found a special place at his customer’s house. Made of around 30 pairs of old black socks and tights, this rug can be machined washed and vacuumed cleaned and won’t change its colour.

After spending 3 weeks of Covid quarantaine at home with my family, I have decided to finally take out the dust of couple of yarn balls purchased long time ago. I learned simple knitting and the first result is the « strawberry set » , a winter hat and a scarf for my daughter.

Reuse Relove is also about using all these things that you keep at home without any purpose. Well, simply use them! Give them life.

Voila! My latest project . During the move to my new home my Javanese flower pot arrived broken into exactly 7 pieces. I glued them but I wasn’t very happy with the result. Then I discovered and got inspired. Well, the pot is far from being a kintsugi art but it turned out quite ok with only

piece of paper,
material glue,
UHU golden stick
broken Christmas tree ball with brocade.

Have you ever heard of ? In Japan they embrace, accept the broken to recreate out of it a new beautiful object. I love watching this technique. It is amazing how you can turn something broken into something new and so beautiful.

When my daughter understood that I would like to create she asked me to absolutely publish her « invention » . This is a house that she made from a paper box from our last move for her younger brother.
