Parshat Naso explores themes of personal responsibility, ethical conduct, and the structure of communal life. It emphasizes the importance of accountability in both private and public spheres, whether through honoring commitments, addressing harm in relationships, or fulfilling duties with integrity.

The section on the Nazirite highlights the power of intentional restraint and the pursuit of clarity through self-discipline. At its heart, the parsha culminates with the priestly blessing, a timeless expression of hope for peace, protection, and inner light, offering a vision of human connection rooted in care, respect, and the pursuit of collective well-being.

Jewish Holidays: SHAVUOT – Feast of the Weeks
Feast of the Weeks
6 Sivan (May, June)

“Weeks” is one of several names for this holiday, which focuses on the time between Pessach and the day that Moses received the Law on Mount Sinai. The Holiday is also known as the Time of the Giving of the Law. In addition, Shavuot is connected to the season of the grain harvest and the tradition of offering the first fruits of the season at the Temple.
In the synagogue, The Book of Ruth is read, and traditionally dairy food is eaten.

MY DAILY LIFE TORAH COACH: Double Parasha n.33 Behar n.34 Bechukotai
Navigating Life’s Journey with Ancient Insights

The double parsha of Behar–Bechukotai teaches a deeply relevant message for our times: true freedom, peace, and sustainability come from aligning with sacred rhythms and living in covenant with Hashem. Behar introduces Shemitah and Yovel, radical concepts of rest, ecological humility, and economic justice, reminding us that the land and our time are not ours to dominate but to steward with faith and responsibility. Bechukotai outlines the spiritual consequences of misalignment—not as punishment, but as the natural unraveling that occurs when we disconnect from divine order, while affirming that teshuvah (return) is always possible. Together, these parshiot call us to live with trust, integrity, and balance, honoring sacred rest, redistributing privilege, and walking in sync with the Divine Presence to co-create a world of justice and peace.

MY DAILY LIFE TORAH COACH: Double Parasha n.28 Tazria n.29 Metzora
Navigating Life’s Journey with Ancient Insights

Tazria-Metzora invites us to look beneath the surface, literally. It’s not just about ancient skin conditions, but about the way our internal state manifests outwardly. The affliction of tzara’at appears when there’s a misalignment between our soul and our speech, especially when negativity or judgment spills into the way we speak about others. But rather than punishment, the isolation that follows is sacred space and time set apart to listen inward, to reckon with what’s been said or left unsaid. It’s a process of spiritual detox.

These parshot teach that real healing comes when we slow down enough to notice what our lives are trying to tell us. Sometimes, what looks like a breakdown is actually the beginning of a return toward integrity, toward empathy, toward the Divine.

MY DAILY LIFE TORAH COACH:
Pessach – Passover at The Studio in Venice

The Jewish community of Venice celebrates every year a Seder for all the members. The weeks before, volunteers of the community bake the Mazzot (unleavened bread) and the typical Pesach cookies called bisse according to traditional recipes in the old Pesach forno (bakery) like their ancestors did since the Ghetto was established in 1516.
