Most people don’t look up, but ceilings like this carry a lot of design thinking.

What reads as simple is carefully coordinated, with lighting, acoustic treatments and services aligned to create a clear visual order. Here, that extends to bespoke lighting, carefully colour-matched to the ceiling to reduce visual noise and maintain consistency.

That coordination does more than organise the ceiling. It improves acoustic comfort, keeps services accessible for maintenance, and allows the full height of the space to be felt.

We’re proud to support Malcolm, who will be taking on an amazing challenge from the 1st to 4th of July — cycling 400km in 4 days through the French countryside 🇫🇷 as part of Detour de France – Part TROIS à Nantes.

This brilliant event, organised by ROK Group, raises funds for Friends of Mont à L’Abbé — a fantastic local charity supporting children at Mont à L’Abbé School by helping provide essential equipment, resources, and activities.

Today we're celebrating as Ian McDonald marks 25 years with Axis Mason.

Over the years, he has played a huge part in shaping the company, leading with passion, determination and a genuine commitment to both the work we do and the people we work with.

His influence can be seen not only in the projects we've delivered, but in the team, culture and relationships that have grown along the way. Many of us have benefitted from his guidance, encouragement and belief in what we can achieve together.

More than 25 years of service, it's 25 years of commitment, mentorship, friendship and leadership. Thank you for everything you've contributed to Axis Mason and the people within it.

A familiar corner of King Street, redefined.

40 King Street is an adaptive re-use project that brings renewed purpose to a key St Helier town centre site, delivering five residential apartments above a refurbished retail unit. The façade balances traditional proportions with contemporary detailing, with stone cladding, bronze anodised shopfronts and a bespoke ceramic frieze that reflect both context and history.

A carefully considered addition to the town centre that strengthens the character of the surrounding streetscape.
