Heartening to see such a diverse list of plants just on our wilder areas, and it was so nice to spend time with the group, slow down and really look closely. Love to invite you again through the year perhaps for a woodland and orchard walk.

They were / are amazing events well done to everyone who organised and took part and us growers and makers will be picking up the challenge to be ready for next year. 🙌🙌❤️🙏

Hello all! We will be taking a break…

When we launched the Jersey Farmers Markets this June, we hoped people would come. You really really came.
9 market days
47 local businesses took part
£200K spent with local producers, with up to 90p in every pound staying in the island economy
2,500-3,500 of you at each market (and roughly 700 cars.. too many bicycles to count!)
8 awesome local charities had a free stall to raise funds and awareness
One young grower quit their job to go full-time and double their production next year

We started out as fortnightly markets and grew a really lovely community along the way.

We told you we’d continue this autumn, but we’re pausing. We want to do the next chapter properly, and a new location in town deserves the time and people to deliver the quality you’ve come to expect from us. We’d rather take the time to find the right spot than rush it.

If there is anyone out there that would like to do FRESH FRUIT, LOCAL CHEESE, INTERESTING HANDMADE / SMALL-BATCH FOODS, PIES, SALAD BAR, SOUPS, DRINKS, give us a shout. Also CHEFS 4 COOKING DEMOS 🔥 [email protected]

So, the Jersey Farmers Markets at Le Tacheron Farm will return late spring 2027🎉

If we pull together a Christmas special, you’ll be the first to know

Until then, keep buying local and keep cooking seasonally

Thank you everyone for an amazing first season 🧡
And a huge thank you to our producers, musicians, volunteers, the Le Tâcheron family, Trinity's Honorary Police, and our sponsors, Butterfield Jersey and Farm Jersey.

Can’t wait for next year 👏

Full Circle

A few photos of the flowers collected after the Regen Gathering. Floral jars gifted, greenery composted, flowers hung up to dry in the flower barn. Nothing wasted, everything given another life.

A huge thank you to the wonderful Regen team for allowing us to take part and have a quiet space to show case our willow coffins. There was a lot of laughter, the odd tear, frank and honest conversations and most importantly, the beginnings of normalising death as a natural part of life.

We loved talking about how funeral choices can be simpler, more personal and gentler on the earth,

and the biggest thank you goes to all the lovely people who stopped by, shared their stories, asked questions and gave us such positive feedback back. Your kindness and encouragement meant more than you know.

We came home tired, but completely topped up by all that positive energy - inspired, encouraged and ready to keep weaving.

Thank you for being part of it. Here’s to continuing conversations, gently changing the narrative around death and finding more beautiful ways to bring things full circle.

🌸🌱We’ve at the Regen Gathering! 🌱🌸
We’re very excited to be taking part in the Regen Gathering from 1pm today and all day tomorrow.

Sally and I have been busy flowering up the event, showcasing some of our beautiful locally grown, seasonal flowers and bringing a little bit of Jersey Flower Farm along with us. 💐

Now it’s Neil and my turn! We’ll be there making a willow coffin, chatting to people, answering questions and sharing a little more about what we do and why we’re so passionate about natural, sustainable and locally connected ways of working.

If you’re coming along, please do come and say hello - we’d love to see you, have a chat and show you what we’re working on.

Can’t wait to see you there! 💚

🍃We’re very excited to be part of the Regen Gathering this week!🍃

We’ll be at the Regen Gathering from lunch time on Friday and all day Saturday and we’ll be taking along our willow coffin work with us.

Our willow coffins are made here in Jersey, using traditional willow weaving techniques and natural plastic-free materials. For us, they’re about creating something beautiful, practical and meaningful, while keeping things as local and low-impact as possible.

We’ll be there to talk about the coffins, the willow and how they’re made and the journey we’re on with developing this part of Jersey Flower Farm and how it links in nicely with our sustainably grown flowers and plastic free funeral tributes.

Most importantly, come and say hello! we’d love to meet people, have a chat and hear what you think. 💚

We’re really looking forward to being part of the event and to spending time with so many people interested in regeneration, nature, local growing and more sustainable ways of doing things.

🍃Friday from lunchtime + all day Saturday

Hope to see you there!

What beautiful healing rain last night, the soil soaking up every last drop what a relief. One of my busiest weeks this week; beautiful funeral tributes, bouquets, floral gift jars, sweet floral baskets, unarranged wraps, DIY wedding flower buckets. So the rain was a welcome respite from the extra watering that has to be done after hours. Thank you to all my lovely customers who are choosing to support local 😊🙏🌸🐝

So many beautiful colours popping up on the field this month 😍🌸

🦋 A little piece of Jersey’s wild heritage.
We’re soooooo excited to discover this week…
A few weeks ago we shared our discovery of a beautiful swallow tail butterfly visiting our flower field and she left us a little present! This morning we found several Swallowtail caterpillars feeding amongst the fennel left to grow wild on the flower field. with extraordinary black, green and orange markings, almost look too beautiful to be real! 😃🦋
This is the first time we’ve found Swallowtail caterpillars here, so it feels particularly special to see them using the habitat we’ve been slowly creating.
Our meadow patch has been allowed to develop naturally over the last few years, with a mixture of native wildflowers including wild carrot, oxeye daisy, ragged robin and evening primrose to name but a few, along with areas of fennel. We leave plenty of the meadow standing and allow plants to flower and set seed, creating food and shelter for insects and other wildlife throughout the seasons.
The caterpillars were found feeding on the fennel — a lovely reminder that a wildflower meadow isn’t just about the flowers we see. It’s also about the plants that provide food for the next generation of insects.
And then, of course, comes the magic… 🐛➡️🦋
The caterpillar will eventually pupate and emerge as one of our most spectacular butterflies — the Swallowtail.
For us, this is exactly why we want to farm alongside nature rather than simply around it. By making space for wild plants, leaving areas undisturbed and growing without chemicals, we can create little pockets of habitat where wildlife can complete its life cycle.
A flower meadow for us, but a whole ecosystem for them. 🌿🦋
