Roche Bobois Jordan Roche Bobois is a world leader in furniture design and interiors. Manufactured exclusively in Europe, our designs are customizable and made-to-order.

Celebrate your style with French Art de Vivre. Roche bobois is the story of two families, the Roches and the Chouchans, not predestined to meet. In 1950, Jacques Roche purchased the old Alexandre Dumas theater on rue de Lyon and built two stores. His sons, Philippe and François, joined the company and together established the company's development strategy. They began to distribute the very best contemporary furniture, which was heavily inspired by Bauhaus designers, such as Minvielle, Steiner and Airbourne, and equally inspired by renowned designers such as Pierre Paulin and Marc Berthier. At this time, the Chouchans were selling furniture in Paris on Boulevard Sébastopol at "Au Beau Bois" (which later became Bobois).

The Setup sofa embodies Roche Bobois’ expertise: design, comfort, modularity, and durability. Its volumes are particularly harmonious and generous, offering softness and inviting comfort. It can be configured with multiple corner units and sofa elements. Upholstered in a fabric that includes alpaca and wool, it has a very supple and pleasant touch.

This exclusive fabric offers an unprecedented technical feat: for the first time, an upholstery fabric dedicated to outdoor use has genuine elasticity, which contributes greatly to the soft comfort of the Informel outdoor. Exceptionally soft, it wraps the generous shapes of this irregularly padded sofa.

Living close to the ground, or almost... In an outdoor version, the Mah Jong sofa retains the modular, composable character that has made it such a success. The cushions seem to float on openwork platforms, detaching them from the ground. Glasses, towels and sun creams can be placed on the sides and behind the seats.
