Textures at the Entrance
Sushiya Yohee Kyoto

We are pleased to introduce the entrance area of Sushiya Yohee Kyoto, located on the first floor of HANAMIYA.

Wood, plaster, stone, glass, and metal are brought together to create a space rich in texture and detail. Each material has its own character, while differences in surface, form, and shadow give the entrance a sense of depth.

The result is a calm and refined setting that gently leads guests into the restaurant.

京都で開業する宿泊施設「HANAMIYA」様の1階にある、「鮨屋与兵衛京都店」様の入口まわりをご紹介します。

木、左官、石、ガラス、金属など、異なる表情を持つ素材を組み合わせています。
それぞれの質感やかたち、陰影の違いが重なることで、奥行きのある豊かな空間に仕上がっています。

落ち着いた佇まいの中に、細部まで楽しめる入口空間です。

KOTORI Lighting
Sushiya Yohee Kyoto

We are pleased to introduce Hiyoshiya’s KOTORI lighting delivered to Sushiya Yohee Kyoto, located on the first floor of HANAMIYA.

The pendant light is placed above the table seating area, softly illuminating the space while highlighting the delicate structure of the shade.

京都で開業する宿泊施設「HANAMIYA」様の1階にある、「鮨屋与兵衛京都店」様へ納品した日吉屋の照明をご紹介します。

テーブル席の上には、「古都里 - KOTORI -」を設置。
やわらかな光が空間を包み、繊細な骨組みと和紙の表情を引き立てています。

Nishijin Textile Chair
HANAMIYA, Kyoto

We are pleased to introduce a guest room chair delivered to HANAMIYA, an accommodation facility opening in Kyoto.

The chair is upholstered in Nishijin textile, featuring a subtle woven pattern and delicate sheen. The light-toned fabric is paired with a dark wood frame, bringing Kyoto’s traditional textile craftsmanship into the calm guest room interior.

京都で開業する宿泊施設「HANAMIYA」様へ納品した、客室の椅子をご紹介します。

張地には西陣織を使用しています。
繊細な織り柄とさりげない光沢のある生地に、濃色の木部を組み合わせ、落ち着いた客室になじむ仕上がりとしています。

Bespoke KOTORI Lighting
Okeya Kujiro Kyoto

We are pleased to introduce a custom version of Hiyoshiya’s KOTORI lighting, created for Okeya Kujiro Kyoto.

The cylindrical shades are arranged throughout the restaurant, bringing a soft and even light to the counter area. Designed specifically for the space, the fixtures complement the calm atmosphere of the interior.

「桶屋久次郎京都」様へ納品した、日吉屋の特注照明をご紹介します。

店内には、空間に合わせて製作した照明を配置しています。
やわらかな光がカウンターまわりを包み、料理や空間の雰囲気に自然になじんでいます。

Art at the Entrance
Saint Marc Holdings Co., Ltd.

We are pleased to introduce the entrance of the new Kyoto headquarters of Saint Marc Holdings Co., Ltd.

Using plates as a canvas, the artwork depicts Piazza San Marco in Venice, a reference to Saint Mark, from whom the company takes its name. The repeated circular forms create a striking composition behind the reception desk, while the detailed scenes appear across each plate.

Created in collaboration with Kyoto artisans, the space incorporates traditional craftsmanship including Kyoto lacquer, Nishijin textile, and Buddhist decorative painting.

The project was selected for the Japan Space Design Award 2026 and received the Young Talent Award.

サンマルクホールディングス様の新京都本社、そのエントランスをご紹介します。

料理を盛り付ける皿をキャンバスに見立て、社名の由来である聖マルコを象徴する、ヴェネツィアのサン・マルコ広場の風景を描いています。
円形の皿を連続して配置することで、受付の背景を印象的に構成しています。

京漆、西陣織、仏具彩色など、京都の伝統工芸職人との協業によって生まれた空間です。

本プロジェクトは、日本空間デザイン賞2026に入選し、ヤングタレント賞を受賞しました。

Kyoto Craftsmanship for Saint Marc Holdings Co., Ltd.
New Kyoto Headquarters

We are pleased to introduce the reception room at the new Kyoto headquarters of Saint Marc Holdings Co., Ltd.

The space was created through collaboration with Kyoto artisans working in traditional crafts, including lacquer and Nishijin textile. A custom-made sofa in the company’s deep navy corporate colour anchors the room and gives the interior a distinctive identity.

The project was selected for the Japan Space Design Award 2026 and received the Young Talent Award.

岡山から京都へ拠点を移した、サンマルクホールディングス様の新京都本社。
その応接室をご紹介します。

京漆や西陣織など、京都の伝統工芸職人との協業によって生まれた空間です。濃紺のコーポレートカラーで特別に誂えたソファが、落ち着いた空間の中で印象的な存在となっています。

本プロジェクトは、日本空間デザイン賞2026に入選し、ヤングタレント賞を受賞しました。

Butterfly Lamp in France
A Private Residence

We are pleased to share Hiyoshiya’s Butterfly Lamp in a private residence in France.

Set within a warm, contemporary interior surrounded by greenery, the lamp brings the form and craftsmanship of Japanese umbrellas into everyday living.

We are grateful to see our work becoming part of a home beyond Japan.

フランスの邸宅にて、日吉屋の「Butterfly Lamp」をご使用いただいています。

緑に囲まれた落ち着いた住空間の中に、和傘のかたちと手仕事を活かした照明が取り入れられています。

日本で生まれたものづくりが、海外の暮らしの中に取り入れられていることを嬉しく思います。

Urushi Console
Designed by Garnier et Linker

We are pleased to introduce a Japanese lacquer console designed by Paris-based studio Garnier et Linker.

Finished in Urushi lacquer, the console features a simple architectural form with softly rounded edges. The subtle texture and depth of the lacquer become especially visible in the close-up details, giving the piece a rich yet restrained presence.

パリを拠点とするデザインスタジオ「Garnier et Linker」が手がけた、漆塗りのコンソールをご紹介します。

漆で仕上げた、シンプルで建築的なフォルムが特徴です。
やわらかく丸みを持たせた輪郭と、漆ならではの奥行きのある艶や繊細な表情が、近くで見るほど際立ちます。

We are pleased to introduce the counter seating at Sushiya Yohee Kyoto, located on the first floor of HANAMIYA.

The chair seats are upholstered in Nishijin textile, a traditional textile craft of Kyoto. Its delicate pattern and subtle sheen bring a refined touch to the counter space.
