hako｜Board Series 角に丸みをもった輪郭が、静かな表情をつくり出します。
古紙を原料とした2mm厚の板紙にハーフカットを施すことで、 しなやかに曲がり、角に丸みを帯びた形が生まれます。 内外2枚の紙を貼り合わせ、形状を保持し強度を持たせました。
forc のプロダクトシリーズは、木工の「挽き曲げ」「かご」「わっぱ」「成型」といった技術を手がかりに、紙の加工方法を再構築することで生まれました。紙の軽さや質感を保ちながら、構造としての存在感を持った形を実現しています。  hako｜Board Series
A softly rounded outline creates a quiet presence.
By applying half-cuts to 2mm-thick recycled paperboard, the material bends gently, forming softly rounded corners. Two layers—inside and outside—are bonded together to maintain the shape and provide structural strength.
The forc product series is developed by reinterpreting paper through techniques rooted in woodworking, such as bent forming, weaving, and molding. While preserving the lightness and texture of paper, it achieves a form with a distinct structural presence.

tsu tsu｜漆
連続したハーフカットによって立ち上がる紙の凹凸に、福井県鯖江市の「漆琳堂」による、tsu tsu の拭き漆仕上げ。
紙特有の繊維の質感に漆が重なり、 落ち着いた艶と奥行きのある表情が生まれます。
forc が行う「紙を構造として立ち上げる」加工と、 伝統的な漆の技術を組み合わせて生まれた仕様です。

tsu tsu | Urushi
This version of tsu tsu features an urushi finish by Sh*tsurindo in Sabae, Fukui,
applied to the three-dimensional surface created by continuous half-cuts in paperboard.
The lacquer interacts with the natural fiber texture of the paper,
resulting in a subdued luster and a sense of depth across the surface.
It is produced by combining forc’s process of forming paper into a structural form
with traditional urushi techniques.

光の角度で変わる陰影。 古紙からつくられた 2mm の板紙に連続したハーフカットを施すことで、折り目が生み出す凹凸が立体的な表情をつくり出します。
forc のプロダクトシリーズは、木工で用いられてきた「挽き曲げ」「かご」「わっぱ」「成型」といった技術を手がかりに、紙という素材の加工方法を再構築することで生まれました。
紙工と木工、それぞれの技術を組み合わせることで、 紙の軽さや質感を保ちながら、構造としての強度や存在感を持った形を実現しています。最小限のフォルムの中に、素材と技術が作り出す独自の佇まいが表れています。
  The angle of light creates different expressions across the surface. Continuous half-cuts applied to 2mm recycled paperboard form subtle ridges and folds, bringing a three-dimensional texture to the material.
The forc product series is developed by reinterpreting woodworking techniques— such as hiki-mage, basket construction, wappa, and forming— and adapting their principles to the processing of paper.
By combining methods from both papermaking and woodworking, the series maintains the lightness and tactile qualities of paper while achieving the strength and presence of a constructed form. Within these minimal shapes, a distinct character shaped by material and technique comes through.
