Architect Kim Doran of Yoap Architects was honored to participate in a live conversation at the Pan-African Biennale, hosted by the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism.
Imagining Otherwise
During the live conversation held at the Shah Houses on September 10 at 1 PM, we spoke with Kenyan architects about the role of architects amid rapid urbanization and climate change, as well as the meaning and future direction of the Biennale.
Imagining a new future—not through a Western lens, but grounded in each region’s own culture, ways of life, and indigenous wisdom. This Biennale offered a meaningful opportunity to share our experiences and begin asking new questions together.
