〔Next Exhibition: 같은 바람〕
오는 금요일, 김성희 작가의 작품전 《같은 바람》을 시작합니다. 저마다의 축을 가진 모빌은 서로 연결되어 있지 않지만 같은 바람 안에서 함께 움직입니다. 하나의 떨림이 곁의 또 다른 떨림과 겹치듯, 한 사람의 작은 움직임은 누군가의 마음에 닿아 또 다른 움직임을 만듭니다. 소후수 김성희 작가는 그렇게 더 많은 존재를 품어낼 수 있도록 자신의 그늘의 둘레를 넓혀가고자 합니다.

Clusters of flowers sway in a gentle breeze, while autumn birds drift across the sky together. They do not touch, yet they move within the same current of air. Each sways in its own direction, while remaining aware of the presence of others nearby. This is how Kim Seonghee imagines what it means to be together.
Opening October 8 at Handle with Care, 《In the Same Breeze》 marks Kim’s third exhibition with the gallery. The flowers that appeared as buds in her previous exhibition now bloom into wild chrysanthemums, wildflowers, morning glories, and camellias. Joined by fruits and birds, they unfold in various forms, ranging from freestanding and wall-mounted mobiles to suspended works.
Each mobile moves around its own axis. Though they are not physically connected, they respond to the same breeze. Just as one tremor overlaps with another, a small movement in one person can reach another and stir something in return. Through her work, Kim considers how we might make more room within ourselves for others.
To pass through the same season, to look upon the same landscape, and to move one another, however slightly. 《In the Same Breeze》 carries this gentle shift from “I” toward “we.”
