In luxury retail design, awnings do far more than provide shade—they serve as a soft architectural transition between the public streetscape and the interior experience.

Here, custom-engineered retractable awnings bridge the gap between heavy structural stone and light-filtering textiles. By bringing ETRO’s iconic textile heritage directly onto the exterior canvas, the installation creates a distinct visual identity while actively managing solar heat gain and glare for the showroom glass below.
